I received student accountant but I'm a non finalist.

Does this mean smth? Do u know for someone who received such an email in previous settings and bècame affiliate?

3 days 5 hours remaining! Just out of interest....is anyone feeling confident? Personally having gone through the answers I think my outcome is touch and go. It can go either way. I know for sure if I fail, its because of my poor performance in q2 (p7). If I end up passing it will be because of a maximisation of marks in q3&4. Do you suppose the examiners ever give Max available marks?

Yes it comes each year just before results - it is nothing unusual

i received SA, i also received the email regarding "name in affiliate list". i also can't access my professional ethics module. i m also finalist. but gosh these have nothing to do with pass or fail. i could log in to affiliate page but it says " you have no permission" "log out" should i count these as signs? even if i take them as signs. it would still not be confirm untill result is out. why not wait the results to come out? Good luck guys i m in same position as u r but seriously there is nothing we could really do except for waiting, no?

@Elia-Shah how do i know it it is ACCA_student link? on the link box there does not appear any ACCA_student. it's just portal/ACCA Portal

I thought P7 was not too bad and I am confident I have passed, it helped massively the Kaplan QBD 2 days before the exam was very similar indeed. We were told to do the following: - State the audit risk e.g. there is a risk of material missatatement owing to a provision being made which is not eligble - Explain the correct accounting treatment- e.g. have the 3 criteria for a provision been met? - How to remedy the issue e.g. tell directors it does not meet the criteria and must be reversed out of the statements - Impact on audit report e.g. if the directors do not make the adjust we would have add give an "except for" statement explaining apart from the provision the books are free from material misstatement The P7 paper is very much application of accounting knowledge to the scenario. If you are not technically able it's a real pig because you need to know IFRS in order to be able to spot the risks. It is why ACCA are insisting that P7 has to be sat after P2 even though the other restrictions have been lifted.

P6 however I am very worried about indeed :-/

when you go to pq accountant, does it also bring up the nq accountant for you? maybe its a sign also!!!

does anyone know why my status report states "to be attempted" for F5 and F6 when I have already sat them in December 2014?????

@Safiyyah Yes it's the same for everyone. They cannot update your status before result release - it is only done after result release so twice a year (with more sittings more frequent updates ofc). There is also no such status as 'attempted' - only PASS/FAIL/ABSENT/TO BE ATTEMPTED

Hi anyone (finalist) received the Acca AB Magazine through their email? Does it mean anything?

My predictions: F5: 57-65% F8: 55-65% but than this is Acca, anything is possible. Hopefully will study P1 and P2 in June 2015 as already started preparing for both along with F9 :)

ACCA Award Notification Any finalist who received this email asking you to log onto your myacca and print your certificate?

@seanan are u stealing results or manipulating? come one there must be some awards they must have referred to.
