The new format is simpler, due to the questions being shorter. I like it better this way, although the MCQ part can be tricky

Me too, I expected the MCQ part to be easier, I was quite uncertain with several questions, especially the type “which statement is true…”. Apart from that the format is good, I prefer the shorter questions in part B.

How was the exam overall? Easy, moderate or difficult? And which parts of the paper were more tricky?

It was a fair paper though MCQ’S were tricky especially theoretical MCQ’S. I got many “C” in my answer, did anyone get? Hope for 50, fingers crossed.

Multiple choice was a nightmare! Some calculations were straight forward but as far as theory questions…Where on earth is the information in the study text for the knowledge on this? No matter how well you know the material you are always second guessing yourself on 2 out of the 4 options. Bring back 4 long questions!!

Question 2 part B was to calculate the share price using the PE ratio.

I thought the paper was ok but the multiple choice was extremely difficult. I studied quite hard and I thought they were very tough. I just started blankly at some of the questions thinking HUH?!

I think it was about using P/E ratio to calculate the market value of shares?
