Mmshstudent9y ago
Hi everyone, I have started counting down to June 2017 results. Left only 15 more days!!! How are you guys feeling now??
RRafay9y ago#61
Not a finalist but I registered in November 2015, cleared till F9 by March 2017 (all first attempt passes and without attending any classes) - Awaiting results for P1 & P2 Oh and I had a science background till A-Levels :P

My final exam... P7..

@rafayazhar said: @mshstudent Faced the exact same situation! Consolidation at first glance seemed to be of much lesser complexity than what came in the past but again, the bitter sips were there. Finalist are you?
Yeah I'm a finalist, waiting for P2, P6, P7

@mshstudent said: We have been through a torturous long and tough journey, and we are now finally a finalist!! I'm curious, may I know when did y'all started ACCA?
My first exam session was December 2015. I've been working full time and self studied for majority of my papers. Fortunately I've had first time passes for all my exams up to this point. It is only now i can appreciate how previous finalists felt, especially when you're not sure how the exam went. So close to freedom yet so far.

@mshstudent said: Me. I find P2 the toughest of all the P papers I had taken. Q1 consolidation was doable, but there were a few notes that I couldn't solve ( sales of equity interest & sales of bond) Q2 & 3 were disastrous and i smoked all the way through. Hoping for a pass...

Two people asking if anyone has had an email from tuition providers. I have not, yet!

@dallan said: I am a Finalist awaiting results for P7 Gonna go trough the older threads and read comments on the theories to pass the time....this is going to be the longest coming week ever
If i remember correctly, one of the theories is the link theory, which I'm taking with a pinch of salt given that there are many discrepancies with many forumers. I tried it though, with an error page. Another theory is the early release of certificate, which I have just checked, and there isn't any new certificate.

I second that. You managed to clear the exams within two years with first time passes? This is remarkable. May I know what is your average for F & P papers? Mine is 75 For F papers, and 66.5 for P papers.

@jerma said: I registered in 2007 I think, got pregnant in 08 and stopped for 4 years. Started back in December 12. I think i had previously put in the wrong year in my previous post. Now balancing studies/work and a family. By the Grace of God, I am done and I wont be hearing my son complain about me not spending time with him.
Sorry for double posting, it was an error. As mentioned previously, well done for your perseverence! Once you've finished, I believe you will have path with a more promising career outlook. Most importantly, you get to have more quality time with your family! For me, I registered in 2015, the year when I enlisted to serve my 2 years compulsory national service in an armed force. Now I'm released from national service, and I'm done with ACCA (Hope for all passes), I will be entering university this August to take up a 4 years B.Acc course, so it is not over for me yet hahaha...

Thank you @mshstudent! I think for some of us the journey is way longer than for others but like you said determination is key to success. I wish you the best of luck with your future studies. I am interested in the Masters program, however, I will take a year off first.

From what I learnt from the past threads, the certificate thing worked in the December 16 session but not in March 17 - They blocked the entire access to that page a few days short of the result date.

Hmm, if this is the case, highly doubt it will be accessible for us in this session. I shall just wait patiently for the result, but the wait is killing me. :(

Nope, without my name. It may be a mass mail.

I would say all of this "Signals" in anticipation is crap. I would advise everyone here not to use such links (e.g link theory) and others as ACCA monitors everyone's activity on myacca and they could remove you from register or send a warning at minimal. Besides, the link theory has already been proven wrong a couple of times. So lets just wait patiently for the exam results. May Almighty bless all of us a pass this time especially to people who sat the hardest of all i.e P4. Our perseverence shall certainly bear fruit one day. Amen
RRafay9y ago#84
I remember one of the students confirmed to have received a warning email because they used some kind of link or something similar to access results before the official date. So yeah, better safe than sorry.

Did anyone get e mil july 12 PER presentation from ACCA UK and Kaplan which also stated at the bottom that it does not have bearing on your June 17 results
