General ACCAACCA June 2017 results countdown

Hey up folks, itz amazing to see the link theory talk is still on going. :) Im a member now after passing my final P7 in March 17 and since then getting my PER signed off and paying the £221 fee for membership. Same as you guys, it was a manic for all of us whom were waiting for the results during the last session. Logged back in to share some experience of the link theory. So what we found was that whom ever could see the grey white page went onto see a pass at the results. Others who couldnt see it, some passed and some didnt, if you cant see it, there is still a chance because not necessarily all the results uploaded as yet.... with regards to the link that takes you to the grey white page, at the end it says "student" that is exactly how it was for me until the result were released. Afterwards, automatically when you click on my acca on the home page, it takes you to the same grey/white page but in the end of the link you will notice the student will be replaced with "Affiliate" on the link. Then it goes onto change to member once your status is changed to member. I also left some comments on page 9, take a look and you might find it useful.... Itz a amazing feeling once you see the affiliate word next to your registration number. Enjoy the moment as it becomes a decent memory.... lol im not even sure why i logged back into this forum, guess there was this feeling i had during my time to come back in the future and share the experience which I was despreately waiting for to hear from someone who had gone through the same before me.... so there you guys. @dallan The future is not decided by whether somebody pass an exam or not. Each one working in finance industry has its routine tasks and most of ACCA subjects are lost and forgotten through time lol. E.g If somebody working as an accountant in a middle size company , ask his/her boss to apply for e.g a BCG matrix the boss most probably will reply "what's this" ? Lol Experience is what it counts. I know people who dont have ACCA but with many years of experience so they know a lot more than newly ACCA affiliates. ACCA qualification in our days only counts as a "shield" for possible future applications when somebody is in need. All these said above depends on the size of the country each one live and work, the wealth of the country and the opportunities provided (reminds me the Porter Diamond) lol

For my timezone, result will only be released on 7am (SG time), I don't think I would be able to sleep tonight...

If grey and white, definite pass. Happened to me too.

i have tried the link 5 minutes before and it shows grey white page with my info and some other info.. can anyone help what this means??? i m finalist with p1 last exam attempted in june 17

Yes i have attempted 2 papers p4 and p7 and my page shows grey/white page from 13 july.when i tried it on 9 july it shows error.but i dont think it mean anything

Same. At the bottom of the welcome page I also see: Any changes made by a member, affiliate or firm to their record will not be taken as notification to ACCA of any matters which would render a member, affiliate or firm liable to disciplinary action. Members, affiliates or firms are under an obligation to bring to the attention of the Secretary, in writing, any facts or matters indicating that the member, affiliate or firm may have become liable to disciplinary action. Refer to bye-law 8 for further details. It's strange how some people seem to see different things, have different options, contact details etc.. trying not to look into these things too much - only another 12 and a bit hours to go..!

@arfan54 i attempted about 85% in both papers and this is my second attempt in p7 got 45 in ist attempt.but this time paper was ok as compared to last one

But it will be good if i paased atleast one from 2 papers as i studied so hard for these specially p4.

Hope you will get through in both papers. P4 Q1 was literally technical...

Click on 'forgotten your passcode', they will send a new password to ur email

Thankyou so much for your help .. e business shows me some personal info then it shows "if any problem contact member @ accaglobal and last line was if i want my name to be included in passed finalist...
