I gave my exams in December session and i chose remotely invigilated examination. I gave Performance Management ( F5 ) paper. But i did not get my result today, instead i got an email. Please find it below
” ACCA examination(s), Pakistan – December 2020
I am writing to you in respect of the examination(s) which you attempted under conditions of remote invigilation during the December 2020, Pakistan exam session.
ACCA has identified potential irregularities in the results of some of those examinations which may constitute a breach of ACCA exam regulations.
In view of the above, results for all candidates who took those exams will be withheld pending further investigation. ACCA will endeavour to complete this investigation promptly and will contact you initially within two weeks.”
Kindly guide me in this matter. Your help will be appreciated

Hi,
I also appeared for F5 via remote invigilation in Pakistan and have gotten the same email.
I am also confused and panicked as to what could have actually happened.
Was your section C question about rolling budgers and roi? Maybe there was problem with the exam itself.
Did the invigilator point you out for misconduct or you think there was any such stuff?January 18, 2021 at 11:40 am #606785accountant100

Dear Talha,
Yes my section C was about rolling budgets and roi. No invigilator did not point me out for any such stuff . There was a delay when i was opening my exam due to technical difficulties. But i don’t think this counts as misconduct . I am also so worried right now. I hope everything will be alright .

Then I think there is an issue with the exam, because I know another who is also facing the same. My teacher said there are 5+ such cases.
The invigilator didn’t point me out either. I completed all the protocols and there were no technical difficulties either. I have tried calling and emailing ACCA but they are not responding. I am also hoping that everything is alright. The email is so ambiguous and confusing as it says “some of those exams” they are not blatantly stating if they are talking about us.January 18, 2021 at 11:47 am #606797talhaiqbal

Also, I don’t understand what does “irregularity in results” mean, this does not imply any misconduct. Or maybe the pass percentage or marks obtained might vary from centre based exams, so they are investigating.

@talhaiqbal – there is an investigation – concerning PM remote exams in Pakistan – and ACCA has written to all student to summarise why their results have not been released. The notification is not “pointing a finger” at any individuals.
I will provide more information here as an when I have some.

Thank you for the updates. Very encouraging.
If you are aware, can you please shed light on the nature of investigation and why specifically PM exams.
Appreciated.January 18, 2021 at 2:37 pm #606893ahsan6497

@talhanaeem421 – I imagine that all results were uploaded to the system and they cannot now give students selective results – I will ask though and get back to you.

@accountant100 – nothing to report as yet. I’m not expecting a swift response as this is an ongoing investigation – but I am sure ACCA is working flat out on this to get it resolved as soon as possible. Nobody wants students waiting on results any longer than is absolutely necessary.

Hey, I got an email from ACCA that says “Congrats on your exam success”. The email reads:
“Congratulations on your exam result!Your success means you’re on track to unlock your perfect career. Your ACCA Qualification will equip you with the relevant skills employers want.
Take the next step towards your future and book your March exam now.”
However, I have not received my result as yet. What does this mean? Does this mean I’ve passed or this is a default email?

@talhaiqbal – as you are still waiting on results it doesn’t mean anything and you should disregard. It’s just a prompt to book for March exams which clearly you cannot do yet.

Thank you all for your patience. It seems this investigation is likely to take as much time as was originally indicated in the e-mail. Although ACCA hopes that the investigation will not continue beyond the exam entry deadline (1 February), if it does, students affected by the delay will still be allowed to enter and ACCA will honour the standard entry exam fee.

I am making enquiries but if you were in receipt of the e-mail in the post immediately before yours, you will see that that suggested 2 weeks from the date of the e-mail – which would be 9th February.
