Hi P5 to P4 is it worth swapping?

I did fail before, just went to 3rd attempt, but this paper got me there and I have only 4 attempts left for my 10 years

Failed agian at 43%, it was my 6th attempt and sept is my last attempt to Qualify otherwise will lose the other the 4 p level papers

Finally an affiliate thanks OT passed this paper first attempt after failing P6 twice. If you have been trying same paper and failing too many times maybe just swap to a different Option paper like I did..... Anyway good luck to all who will resit in Sep

P5 paper is simpler than P4 in my opinion. My tutor used to say that students fail in p5 because they don't think and write. In p5 more emphasis is on theory part... Right? I wrote P5 in last December and scored 41, then in March scored 46, now passed with 51 marks in June session. Let me tell u the question they asked in December session about budgeting was expanded to a major portion of 50 marks question in June 2017 exam. It's in our syllabus. And the evaluation of performance report was a major component of 50 marks question in December session and they repeated the same "evaluate perf report" in March session. I could predict that for June session would contain questions from quality because they had asked Kaizen and target costing in March. Usually students have a tendency to skip a question that was asked in the last sitting....instead I focused on quality and other areas which came for the exam. Helped me to clear the exam. I think for the next p5 u can brush up..... Business structure (especially complex), div perf measure, again evaluation of perfe report and risk (maximax etc) I Wholeheartedly thank God Almighty for helping me clear the Paper P5. ? I feel the peace now..... Those who are in despair please pray to God...God knows all our need.... We are his creation and he knows us Better than anyone else.

Hi all, This is my first time writing here... and I do this case I totally lost... I failed again and it was not my 2 or 3 attempt it was 6th... and i got only 40 marks... which is the lowest of all the papers and attempts of P5... I wanted to ask for an advise - is it better to switch to another paper or keep doing this one... time is against me as I took a break in ACCA now I should do my final exam which is this one by Dec 2018. Tnx for any advice

P5 paper is simpler than P4, have cleared both....

Passed on my 2nd attempt with 54% I am over the moon Found the Opentuition "revision lectures" most useful and would recommend them to anyone struggling with exam technique and approaching the longer questions. 1 exam left now! P4, P6 or P7 hmmm tough decision

Failed again, my third sitting 42 marks, in Dec'16 got 43 marks, then in March'17 sitting 47 marks this time only 42 marks! Do not really know what's going on, this is my last paper, did not do this bad on any of them. Congratulations for those who passed.

I am glad I passed it. I really did not like this exam. Link theory worked for me. On Thursday I had an error, then later in the day I had the white and grey page. Exams are over for me, it was nice to read you all!

Trying to reply to a previous post, swapping P5 for P4. These exams are very different. P4 is highly numerical, focused on investments.

A huge thank you to Open Tuition. Finally I managed to pass my final ACCA paper P5 on the 5th attempt.. Successfully applied for ACCA membership. Your lecture notes, lecture videos were very useful and informative. I used them along with BPP lecture notes, revision guides etc... And they taught me how to answer questions from different perspectives... Couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks again. Kash (London)

- was my 3rd time sitting this paper - finally i passed it this time and luckily my last exam of ACCA - anyone who got bad news with this paper I can safely say I know how u feel - whether it be your first second Third time etc - keep focused and eventually you will get it. I went from 42 - 39 - 66 - even with the 66 I thought I'd failed.. it's a really hard paper but honestly if you keep doing what yous are doing you will get there and this will all be a distant memory. Good luck guys - only a matter of time at this stage ?
