APM*** ACCA P5 June 2017 Exam Results ***
55%. Finally finished with all of the exams. P5 was definitely the hardest of all of the papers imo
FYI link theory did not work for me I kept getting the error message
Don't be hard on yourself lolo you can do it
Congrats Tommy, thank God
Pass at 50%, second sitting. Can't believe it; first try got 26%.
Please Read....
Please do not give up on this subject, I have finally passed on my third attempt I went from 36,49 to 50.
Each time I went into the exam with the mindset I'm going to have you bit**!
Finally an affiliate, after exactly 2 years; I registered in June 2015, received 7 exemptions & had to complete 7 papers. Yes, P5 was terrible (I liked the content though) but I am through withy worst pass mark to date, 54%. At this stage I don't care, I just needed 50% after that shocking June exam, I got it! In March I got the highest P7 mark in SA.
Thanks to BPP, OpenTuition. Two years of self-study, no social life, putting in an 1.5-2 hours every morning before work, late nights of studying. I'm out......
64 in the only ACCA exam I didn't finish and really wouldn't have been surprised if I'd gotten a score in the 40's.
Most interesting course of them all but a bloody tough exam and time was a killer.
Anyway, ACCA done ... nine exams in 24 mths self study. Need to find myself a late bar.

So happy right now!
66% pass on P5 (was sure I'd failed) and 56% on P7 which I thought I'd done much better on!
Wasn't expecting to be able to say this but I'm now an ACCA affiliate with all first time passes!!
Congrats to everyone who passed and to everyone who wasn't so lucky, you can do it!!
63%. The long night is over. I can have a social life again.
I have only completed 85% of the paper but managed to score 71% somehow. It turned out to be my highest score for P level papers even though I was sure I failed...
So happy, it's finally over!
Wohoo ! Passed with a 61 ! This was a good attempt for me. Congrats to everyone who passed and tough luck for those who didnt. Its definetly doable guys !
3rd attempt failed again @ 47. I just cant get it.i really need to put more effort or may be switch to p4

To God be all the glory .passed P5 67% .an affiliate now started my journey in June 2015 and got 4 exemptions
Get 47 for 2nd attempt, sad.......Any retaker for September 2017? I am thinking to go for Sep or Dec sitting.
Finally, my ACCA journey is over ( 5 years with 2 gap years)
Feel a little bit empty inside :(

Passed eventually with 51%. My 6th attempt....I dont even know where to start. What!!! 6th attempt....P5 is a very tough course. Don't give up....U love it, go for it! What can I say....I'm super excited....Pls dont give up...If don't pass this time, next diet is waiting for you. Now I can have time for my family - they are the champion. They waited and endured all thru the years....ACCA took me away from them...Now I'm back fully....Thanks to Open Tuitions....Love you guys and peace out.

I'm on +4407815772008
Thanks Kumboo, all the best with your remaining papers. I see you smashed your June exam as well congrats!
2nd attempt for me (didn't even complete all the paper as ran out of time) and passed 56%
I passed P5 with 51% but failed P7.
Initially I wasnt even confident enough to go to the P5 exam, i was so close to not turning up because i didnt feel comfortable in my knowledge.
This sitting i wasnt a finalist, and felt very relaxed about it.
I have to resit P2 and P7 to finish and they are both the same type of beast so will attempt them both in one sitting. This does though mean the next exam result day will be massively stressful for me and with that i feel for those who have failed their final exams.
Well done for your passes everyone, also for those who failed, dont be down. Failure makes us learn just that little bit more.
Third attempt and failed again I got 43 twice and now 44 :(
P5 was my final exam, was sure I failed as a ridiculous exam. Passed with 57% time for a rest.
To all fellow students who failed, keep strong and carry on. Don't give up now.
I have just passed P5 on my third attempt and the main difference in my prep this time was I ignored all my notes! I downloaded all of the past exams since 2012 and did the questions over and over again.
Many people told me to do this during my first and second attempt but i thought i knew better and it was a mistake.
I wish you all the best luck for Sept.
Passed with 50% first attempt. I was convinced I had failed as it was the worst exam I ever sat. I am finished now, no more exams!!!
60 marks, 5th attempt! Someone earlier mentioned regarding " god having his way of doing things". That's exactly what i was about to say. I mean i managed to assemble a fair response but judging from my previous attempts( 39%, 40, 38, 35) , the most i hoped i could get would have been the marginal pass. This time i was very cautious with time management so covered about 95% despite option questions being very tricky.
After the 3d fail i got very negative about the whole thing but managed to crack on. There is a sweet feeling of liberation. Going to have loads of liquor over the week end.
Tons of luck for those resitting in September!
