Hi
I was wondering if anyone is looking into doing that Master ACCA offers with University of London
There is a booklet available at the Uni website describing the programme but the description seems very vague to me
I contacted University of London asking for more details but they said unless you register for the course, no more info is available
Does anyone else think that these subjects you need to pass sound a bit vague, ( I was looking at Pathway 2 as I have nearly all exams passed, fingers crossed for the last one !)
Thank you

General ACCAACCA Masters with University of London
Hi imuabbas,
Please can share some examples of the resources. Thank You.
Hi @mapley @Neggumz and other students of MSc,
I'm also planning to begin my Msc in Jan. I am very confused if this can be done in 6 months ? without other obligations like job. I will take this Full-time, can it be done in 6 months.
I've heard that there are some Whatsapp Groups that are more focused on sharing info on this. Would anyone know of it and please share it.
I guess I'm finding it difficult to judge myself because i don't know if the University itself has enough support and guidance.
If anyone can share their recent experience, it would be really helpful.
Thank you eveyone.
Can somebody help me. I have registered underpathway2. I am extremely finding it difficult to follow Global Issues for Financial professionals. English was my medium of education for my secondary education and as well for all of my ACCA exams. But I am finding it difficult to read and understand the English language in this particular study material. Very often I have to refer a
dictionary and in few instances it says it is an informal term. I also couldn't understand the study materials. I have not studied AFM for my ACCA optional course. Should I have prior knowledge in this subject before I learn this particular subject. Most of my ACCA papers I have studied with the self-study materials but for this module it is extremely difficult and I planning to quit the course.
Hi,
I have done all first 9 ACCA exams and I was thinking to enroll to Master of Science in Professional Accountancy, starting from the PGCert module.
Do you have more info than UoL website about the PGCert module? Is anyone attending it?
Compared with ACCA exams is it more difficult?
Have you done an unseen written exam? What differences from ACCA exam?
Thank you everyone.
Hi, How is your study going along? Thanks for your comment because you are asking exactly what I am worrying which is deferring my decision whether to proceed with this.
I don't have a university degree so only qualification i have is ACCA. Getting a masters will definitely helpful but I do not want it to be too difficult as I need to work full time plus overtime.
Hi guys, quick question:
Does MSc from this programme enable graduates to apply for PhD? Is it recognized by British universities as regular MSc?

Hi, I'm planning to register for the programme 2021-2022. Initially I was thinking to register in the new revised programme starting from Apr2022 but I noted the current one comes with only 1 module and 1 final project only?
Let's connect.
Hi Kho,
I am registering for the old version; that is why I don't want to miss this chance . The new version has more options and course which I guess will make it more expensive and harder. but someone said the causes were broken down to smaller unit for better concentrations and understanding which make the new content the same with the old.
I am from Nigeria , pls you are free to connect with me on WHATAPP +2348025422937.
Pls do you have idea of anyone with the text book of Global Issues in Finance and Accounting , I want start reading because of the nature of my Job.
Thanks.

Basically work hard and only move on when you understand the topic, provide 1-2 hours of study a day and ask the tutors lots of questions. It’s a really good course and I really enjoyed it. The group work was really good, nice to meet new people from different countries. Definitely brush up on your academic writing, this will help you a lot. Though you will be reading lots of research papers so you will understand the kind of thing they are after that way. Remember BE CRITICAL this is not an undergrad degree where they want you to find something in a book and apply it. They want you to to find something and then critique it and find alternative views and find a balance. This is key. Apologies for getting back to you so late, this year has been crazy!!!@alkerbix said: I’ve just completed both modules and got a distinction, I’m happy to answer any questions on this forum.
Hello Alkerbix,
I am grateful for the indo provided. I have a question to ask. Is 1-2 hours a day study valid for each module or both modules at the same time. This answer will be very helpful for my study plan.
Cheers,
Are you planning to start , Pls join afarioun group for sharing of idea
Thanks.
Hi I am not sure if I found the right answers anywhere so I would like to ask you below questions:
1) How do you "pass" the modules - you need to write a research project for each of it (I see there are no examinations mentioned in the brochure)? Please describe in more details.
2) How does a Capstone project work? Is it again a research project but with more word count?
I would be grateful for your answers.
