General ACCASEPTEMBER 2019 ACCA Results Countdown

AAbdullahi6y ago
Hello and welcome Ladies and Gentlemen We are less than two weeks away from the results day. The very best of luck if you are finalist! hopefully this will be your last participation on results countdown. I did AAA and I feel I messed it beyond hope due to poor time management. I spent over an hour on question part one alone which was only 19 marks and as a result I left 17 marks unattempted at the end. share your thoughts

How reliable are these theories the link and e-business? I have access to the link and can see the white and grey page also found affiliate on the source page. However the usual feeling is still there when expecting ACCA results... I am praying seriously I don't want to sit SBL again. The thought of failing is so painful.
LLaura6y ago#212
Hi I'm from UK and yes have affiliate in e-business, and grey can log in to the link for the portal and get white and grey page with details if that means anything ?
LLaura6y ago#213
totally thinking the same...are they reliable and I'm waiting on SBL and AAA results. Really don't want to sit that 4 hour paper again!

Thanks Laura, I get grey and white page in the portal but can't see affiliate on the source page, but I don't really get one thing in regards to the affiliate, the coding is simply a lookup formula and therefore whether the result for the lookup comes as true or false, the lookup should still remain on everyone source code, just don't make sense. I may be well fail this time, but I don't really trust the source code.

@olair these theories are for ages not something new. In June for instance I didn’t have affiliate in source code and indeed it was a fail. Others who didn’t see it said fail as well when results released. And those who saw it, it was a pass. HOWEVER nothing is certain of course until Sunday midnight UK time. The anxiety still remains because of the uncertainty until results are verified.
LLaura6y ago#216
I do actually agree with you, I think the source code maybe to do with if you have ticked to be in the finalists list or not and I have. The only difference is I have been a finalist for March and June and I never had the word affiliate in the source code or the white and grey pages when I logged in it was always just a blank white screen. I'ts been along road for me and I just hope it is my time, fingers crossed.

i just want to ask..did it ever happen that somebody saw these theories but still they were unsuccessful?
Aacca33366y ago#218
Agree with Laura. It has been a long road and we hope it is our time

i so wish so.but are there instances where somebody who saw this theories work but was not successful?

@naz2 said: Never actually happened, and I always say that you should not check the link if you don't fully trust as whats the point to be uncertain if checking it if you don't 100% trust it? were you not better of waiting till sunday? If I was any of you who saw affiliate, i wouldn't be here to get more comfort from others rather planning for celebration.
True Naz..i so wish that you pass this exam. Well its human nature to doubt good things.

Yes the anxiety is always there, I know that no matter how many exams I have passed the 12 MIDNIGHT result day still remain same feelings. .......nervous Last time in June it took me more than 30 minutes to open my email for AFM...... guess what I had a miracle 50% at first attempt....... ??

@naz2 said: Guys when you practice the past paper questions, what is your approach, like you read the scenario and requirements then directly to solution or try to solve it first on paper? also each question how many times you really revise.
Naz do you want to send me your email, I'll look up my computer and see what notes I have there. I should have them all, I think.

When will the examiner report be published ?

Already up for SBR. Just read it now, it was mentioned that the pass rate has improved then before. Hopes high, gave SBR in September and flucked some marks up.
Aacca33366y ago#227
AAA examiner report was placed under September 2018 report for those who did not notice
Oolaair6y ago#228
Copied from SBL Examiner report Exam performance "Overall the standard of answers was similar to the June sitting, although demonstration of professional skills seemed to have improved." Examiner Report for SBL looks promising pass rates could still be within 50% and 51%
Oolaair6y ago#229
@naz2 I used online study provider and practice alot of AFM past paper from 2013 to date. Did two mock exams.

Can anybody see this on welcome page source ? and even you have this in source code and if you do not have any option to tick anything on the welcome page ? Then what will be the meaning of this. Everybody has this code in your welcome source code ? function validatecheckbox() { if( document.getElementById("p_affiliate_list").checked) { return(true);} else {window.alert("Please tick the checkbox.");} return(false); }

The code indicates to remind affiliate to tick the box... And Chk the link floated above.
