I can use the link and login to that link and I can see data like myacca first page. in ebusiness I can not see any option to tick anything and can not open change password page. where you can see affiliate ?

login into the ebusiness link and right click and view source code.search for the affiliate word.do you see?

Yes as I mentioned above I can see affiliate in that format.

Try not to learn the theory, but understand it. When doing past exam papers, apply your knowledge and write it in your own words. I never did any past exam papers when was studying subject or before the exam, maybe just read few questions and answers. But I always trying to understand all topics.

Hi all, I am an ACCA finalist since June and waiting for the P4 resul. here is my experience with the theory link June sitting vs Sept. In advance, I would like to apologise if my comment is going to result in any kind of a disappointment to anyone. June failed; In the E-business site, I did not see affiliate in the source page rather I saw that my name was included in the mailing list. i.e there was two templates and they are if success get template etc the second one if error get a template. The interpretation of these two codes, in my opinion, that i was still in the student's list who receives there results via email or a text message and my name was included to get an automatic message. when the result came out i received amial and text message to confirm I failed. I did not see the word affiliate in the source code and people who saw it confirmed they have passed. Also, I could not log in to this site https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS Sept result. I now can see the word affiliate in raw and there are no templates if success or if error and can log in to the website above. The only difference I can tell this sitting to the previous one. The word affiliate was in row 250 this time it is located in row 202. Hope this helps some people who got lucky and for theos who can't see word affiliate this all speculation and there isn't anything offical as of yet.

For AFM or any subject practising papers with help of stop watch seems to be must.... particularly for AFM. I have seen time constraint is main culprit and along with that must reading technical articles, Examiners' reports and marking schemes

I know this because i opted in to the list and then saw the word affiliate in the page's source code, i then opted back out of the list and the word affiliate disappeared from the source code the following day.

Yes i can access the link but do not see that as any indicator of a pass or fail. I think all of these theories are a bit wishy washy to be honest and recommend just waiting until the official results are communicated by ACCA

I didn’t opted in/out anything and in June I didn’t have the word “affiliate”. Now having the same settings as in June I can see “affiliate”. Something is done automatically.

As for me, I opted for not to include my name in the list of finalists. I re-checked it to be sure and it was still at the option where I chose not to include my name in the list of finalists. I then checked the source code and I can see the word affiliate in line 202.

So you still see the word 'affiliate' even when you opted not to include in the list?

It can take a while for the source code to update so do not expect an immediate change

When I opted not to include in the list, the 'affiliate' disappeared for a moment but when I tried again it appears

These theories exist for ages, it’s not something new. As per past finalists, before there was a validate checkbox, what so called tick box and the phrase “would you like your name to be included in the list of passed finalists” in the welcome page of e-business. In the last 2-3 countdowns though these are hidden.

Let not argue back and forth on the link things. ..... we only have less than 48 hours to find out.... if it works or not post on individual paper forum. ..... so that those December sitters with not be carried away with this obsession. .....it is killing me softly....... best of luck everyone

Woah, i thought i was the only one paranoid about results but i was wrong XD..... <48hours left. Waiting for my f7. kinda amazed about the theories people came up with,even as accountants trying to decrypt info from a encrypted page is a very impressive feat. Best of luck everybody..May we all shall pass our papers :)
