Using OpenTuition
OpenTuition provides free learning materials, study tools and community services for accountancy students. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not harm the service or other users.
Your account
Please provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you believe your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Community conduct
Do not post unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing material; impersonate another person; distribute spam; interfere with the site; or attempt to access accounts, data or systems without permission. We may moderate or remove content and restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users and the service. The detailed standards for forum participation are set out in our Forum Rules.
Educational information
Our materials are for education and revision. They are not professional, legal, tax, investment or employment advice, and they do not replace official guidance from an examining body. We work to keep information useful and accurate, but cannot promise that every item is complete, current or error-free.
Content and permissions
OpenTuition materials and branding remain protected by their applicable rights. Any reuse allowed under our Open License must follow that licence. You keep ownership of content you submit, while giving us permission to host, display, format and moderate it as needed to operate the service.
Availability and external services
We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Links, advertising and services supplied by third parties are governed by those providers' own terms. Where a payment provider is used, payment-card details are handled by that provider; OpenTuition does not store full card details.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and cookies. These terms do not reduce any rights you have under applicable law.
