APM** P5 Exam Results June 2013 and Genius Hunt Competition **

Got 53% .. happy to pass as i only managed to answer 72..

I took P7, got 49, 48 and went to review, it was just waste money, then I swapped to P5 and passed this time.

Phew - passed, 53%, but last question was a complete disaster, so am very relieved. Am sooooooooooooooo grateful I passed. Only one exam to go in Dec and that's it.

41%. first ever fail in ACCA. Got 75% in P3 though...:D. Don't know what to say really. At least I get to know how it feels to fail and makes me better understand others feelings when they fail.

I thought I had failed after not completing about 25% of the paper.. But pass with 62%. I am elated!

got 48%... WTF.........i want to appeal...... 8th attempt !!! last paper to affiliate !!!!!! acca takes me 10 yrs already....

I had 60% after attempting P5 about 4 times, I am now an affiliate and I am grateful to God for helping me and especially directing me to the opentuition website. I am amazed that these great resources are free as they contributed tremendously to my preps. Thanks to you guys for making everything so simple.

Failed with 46% marks :( ...

Don't bother appealing. waste of money. I got 47% in Dec-12 and appealed and got nothing. Just concentrate and retake the paper. I passed this time with 57%.

Congratulations to everybody who passed Alex Watt's tricky paper. I managed to get 57% even though I only had time to write for 71% of the paper and am now an affiliate. Advice for those who have to do a retake. Firstly, don't give up. ACCA has taken me 6 years to complete. This was my 3rd attempt at P5 and I was close to giving up even if I only had 1 exam to take. Now I am glad I carried on and finished because the feeling of achieving it is amazing. Don't go for an admin review, its a waste of money. They don't remark your paper, they just make sure that all of their procedures have been used properly and that all of your marks have been added up correctly. IF you plan to take P5 again, learn the models so that you can remember them but the real marks are in how you use the models e.g. Building blocks, BCG Matrix. Doing a lot of practice questions was the key to me passing this time. Wish you all good luck in future exams and future careers.

39 fail first attempt... final paper,.. Dec 13 session hope to be the last one :)

Passed with 60%, now an affiliate. It's taken 4 years but it's finally over!

54 :) Wrote about 80% Passed from third attempt :(

I am really upset mine last attempt p4 and p5 and got failed in both don;t how it is possible was sure about to pass p5 did quite well .i guess luck didn't favor me i really breaks me watching my parents so excited for my result than their sad faces after i tell them i failed still mom trying to console me that doesn't matter you work hard there is always a next time .ACCA Killing me WATS make sad is that my brother pay for my fees its around 40 k in pak rs all wasted :-( everyone in this forum please pray for me that i pass in December 2013 . thanx and congrats to all who make is this God Bless u all.

48failed,the 2nd attemp,45% last time. Fighting again!!!

Passed p2 p3 p7, but p5 has held me from qualifying. Though this was my first attempt I'm still disappointed that a target costing question distabilized me and as such will be moving to p6,even though I can't use it in my country. congrats to those who passed.

I can't believe I passed, I had lost hope didn't finish my exam wrote about 70-75% of the paper, God you are great, I got 57% . I would not help the joy, I have been crying all morning, I just can't believe it. I have save it in my folder, just to be sure acca didn't make a mistake. IT IS OVER AT LAST, AM free!!!!

i understand who you feel. Failed P4 and P5. Passed P2. Everybody is trying to comfort me eapecially my mum but i feel so useless. This is really important to me. My sister paid for mine too and i want to make her proud. Don't worry. We will be fine.

Failed at 1st attempt: 49. Really depressed. Will start revising this week-end and get back into it....only strategy is hard work & question practise

Got 49 % in P5 .This was my 4th attempt! :( Don't know what to do. Cleared 13 papers already.

I got 74% Absolutely over the moon!! :-)

keep trying if you can get to this level you can complete the whole thing

i got 49 for P7 dont worry my Sister we are going to qualify in december

Passed with the nifty 50, 3rd attempt. Such a relief . Congrats to those who passed and commiserations to those who didn't.

I understand fully your frustration.... P5 is my last too, got 48 in Dec 2012 and now 41... am so depressed coz i felt confident after the exam. Anyway Dec is another chance, am starting to revise after next week.. And by the way i also failed both P5 and P6 last Dec Wish you all the best

I failed, 44%, knew I had and I'm annoyed because its not a knowledge issue but trying to apply it to the question. It's something you can either do or you can't. I think further reading is the key to passing this exam, and the examiner needs to be more clear with his questions. That said, some people do manage to pass so it can't be impossible! Roll on December....

49%, :( second time. I knew the whole of question 1 and was sure I would get 50/50. Does that mean I got 49 in question 1 and a big fat egg in the other questions? I do not think so. Am very sad.
