General ACCA** P1 Exam Results December 2012 and Genius Hunt **

I got 70%

I was so sure i'd pass this paper but this morning was a shock to me. 45 was not what i expected.

I failed P1 again with 41, this is the 4th time, with almost the same mark. I have to mention that, when I am sitting a paper i always give at least 20 hrs every week for each paper during 6 months. But since i reached professional level, I have not passed any papers at part P2. For this section, I was confident because my preparation, my experience ( I am MBA holder) and the fact that during the sitting I did all the questions without feeling any difficulty. I am having very little trust on ACCA marking system now and I think, the system should be able to provide more feedback than simply giving the rate, like more details on each question and comments from the marker. This will drive the student repeating paper and protect the trust between student and markers.

I got exactly the same your feelings, I finished all question, 99% surely I will pass, but in fact, i failed, so bad feelings now

Got 65% on first attempt

Yes I passed my P1 (67%) and P2 (56%) that I wrote. To God be the glory!

Passed with 50%. Happy to have passed but it was my worst result so far. This exam is very misleading because the syllabus is not difficult but I have a feeling that exam technique is all it matters. It is important to plan, to think more and write less. I failed to apply this advise but luckily squizzed through :)

Passed with 51 also got 56 for F9

I agree with you, but you won't be able to win on that issue against ACCA. ACCA made us participate in survey, to share our view, we waste our time with its stuff, but yet never heard that any action was taken. It became a business for them. Why not implementing a marginal PASS as from 45 marks? Do you people realise how many students fail at 49 marks? it's a lost of money paid for tuition, exams, and six months time of studying. NOT FAIR

Thank God! After so many attempts finally my God blessed me with Pass at 51%. My advise to all brothers is "Just move on and kept hardworking and success will find you" Try this you will agree with me.

I second what you said "avinashbaj", seriously i distrust the markers and i feel to give up ACCA.

I got Passed in first attempt...... Very Happy by getting 51 although very busy while giving exam in job

fail p1 46 and p3 17 p1 8 times the range form 40 to 47 p7 two times 06 2011 16 and dec2012 17 i remain with p1 and p3 and one option paper i pass befor p2 and p6 any advice thanks

Passed with 50%!!! It was my first attempt and I didn't even open a text book. Totally relied on Mike Little's lectures which I listened at lunch time. Thank you soo much to Open Tuition and Mike!!!
