Hi, please can you advice, how you prepared for this exam? Did you just use OpenTuition? I am learning with Kaplan LiveOnline and is quite hard to understand.

I have passed for 60% in my 3rd time; I can advise, first don't give up the second, don't over study think about techniques. Starting from section C, these are questions that need time I spent on my exams -1:45 and still feel like I could make more. Then sections A and B, there will always be some questions you don't know or require more time. Skip them, do only what you know, and then come back. In section B, I first started with all questions related to theory and then calculation, and that help me manage my time more effectively. If I will place a bet in the September session - C section - transfer pricing or ROI&RI, these subject has not to appeared almost all year. BPP study kit is quite good.

Hi @Sawicka I had ROI/RI, transfer pricing and linear programming in section C last sitting and struggled.

@Jshaq93 thanks for your words of support. I will look into Jo Tufill and see if that helps and perhaps the Kaplan kit but was under the impression there wasnt much difference to that and BPP? I thought I was doing ok, but the last exam section C questions really threw me a curve ball.

After a long battle, I successfully won this one . PM was a very challenging Paper. I failed on 3 attempts. I Passed with 56 Marks on my 4th attempt.. I am so grateful and delighted. It gives me so much hope to continue. We all here know how hard this ACCA journey gets. My message to those who fallen, keep on struggling. The Key to passing is question preparation. The more you practice, the more you are ready to tackle the exam. Try to do all the MCQs in the Revision Kit and at least one question from each chapters in the syllabus. I wish everyone good luck on their journey.

@anniebabe tbh i changed to Kaplan as i just needed a fresh start after failing, id already answered most of the Bpp kit at this point, so it was more a psychological thing and needed new questions. Personally i find Kaplans answers at the back easier to understand with better explanations. Their questions also seem to help you get the basics down whereas BPP i found a bit more challenging. But cant go wrong with either of them tbh. Sounds like you just got a rough section C tbh, it happens.

@anniebabe buy the BPP revision questions, go through all the questions, write notes (I only refered to maybe 10 lines in total of my notes) and just hammer the practice. For this exam, alot of the marks can be obtained from section C if you show understanding and further knowledge.
