Finally passed PM on my third attempt with 59% !!!!! Thank you God!!!! Also thank you to John and Open tuition for the fantastic lectures. Damn this paper for me has been the toughest nut to crack. PM has been a struggle and has taken me to some low places as I never thought I would be able to pass it. I really started to doubt myself. Fortunately I did not get the paper with linear programming and transfer pricing in sec C as it sounds like these questions were a fair bit trickier than the section C questions in the morning exam - just my opinion - everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. So to any of you who haven't passed today, I know the feeling but please do not give up, you will definitely succeed if you just keep trying!!! It's not about how many times you fail, but how many times you get back up and try again. There were also a few sneaky MCQs on DIKW pyramid which I don't think was covered in Open tuition but it is in the articles. I'm no genius but my pointers would be - read all the technical articles on ACCA's website as these will help you understand concepts and they complement John's lectures. Read past examiner reports and learn from them, check out youtube videos online if you don't understand a lecture, I used Steve Willis and Jo Tufill who are both great, sometimes a different way of explaining can help you understand. Make sure you understand acca's terminology, for example 'discuss the advantages of sth...' actually means discuss the pros as well as the cons - really weird in my view but it is what it is - there is a link of acca's website that explains what the requirement is for the word e.g. discuss, compare, evaluate, analyse etc. And obviously goes without saying get a revision kit and practice practice practice, ideally under timed conditions. Best of luck to everyone else!!

I passed it with 72%. For practice questions, buy the BPP exam question kit which is about £12, its all you really need. This was all independent study.

Finally, I passed with 55% after several attempts. Other papers at the Skill level were okay and passed at most on the 2nd attempt but this PM was very hard to crack even after months of study. It made me lose confidence in myself but at last, I thank Jesus Christ.
