logged on to ebusiness, right clicked , page source, and the page which opened up has affiliate at the end of the web page. Anyone else noticed this?

If ACCA thinks accessing those pages will disrupt their work, they could simply have shut those sites down.

Morning everyone (can you tell UK based) :) This thread soon picked up! I can see why finalists are so keen to find out their results before the big day. I watch this thread even when i haven't sat an exam. I love the mounting excitement hidden in anxiety that appears in the thread it truly contagious. Sometimes i then go and check how everyone did. So i write a list of user names and then follow their posting in the relevant paper forum after this one closes. Even though i dont know anyone in person, i still take great pleasure in seeing the achievements and happiness. I have said this before, good luck to everyone, i am waiting for P2 but i know i have failed and i am exceptionally content with that result. I am actually excited to go back and try again which sounds odd but its not meant to be this time, i am not ready. Personally i am an older student, in a very senior role, i also have a very nice batch of academic qualifications which makes me a bit of an eternal student! Its important for me to keep up to date in management, leadership and of course ACCA so i probably cant stop for a while yet anyway. (I am at the moment thinking about doing a Phd after my final ACCA exam, having just two to complete...glutton for punishment you might say!). Anyway i digress. My point is, i see people getting very upset about the results, about potential failure. I know its very hard not to do this but you it is important to remember that failure is a very important part of the process of learning. I can see a grade A student with all the confidence in the world, but not able to accept other methods, ideas etc. For your future careers, and your own self confidence, please dont be disappointed with failure, getting this far is an achievement in itself. As we all know at the P level papers the pass rates are very low, and thats because its not meant to be easy. Good luck everyone, i know the pleasure of passing is great. However a failure is not the end. The worst thing that happens is a lost exam fee, and a bit more time, its not the end of the world. <Group Hug> Anyway i am off out for a nice long walk to enjoy the day :)

We are seeing mostly members@ because those candidates still displaying students@ may be shy to come forward and speak up. That may be why

MMMM, but I think that Acca won't update the profile/database if you are a fail, they won't probably make no adjustments. Even that of the Benevolent Donation I never had this option to donate...and maybe it is open only for members to donate. Can someone tell me who is seeing members in ebusiness check the general details page if it says students@?

Yes same for me. Members@ in ebusiness but students@ on details page

YEs the same, I think it is the programming of the tick box....if false if not ticked to be included in the list.

Mine says students on ebusiness. The options at the side are Welcome Addresses Change Password Contact ACCA General Details option disappeared a few days ago. I’m curious to see if anyone in previous countdown saw students but did actually pass.. T minus approx 39 hours... I’ve never been so nervous. But I’ve plans for today and tomorrow to try keep my mind off these results!

I can see members on the welcome page...oh gosh this is giving me so much anxiety

Wow this is positive news for those still showing student@ in ebusiness. ACCA are playing with our emotions!!

I actually was just reading the March 2018 results and there were a few people in there who mentioned they didn't have access to the links and still passed. Also some people have shown replies in older countdowns with the same thing. So fingers and toes crossed!! There is still hope anyway for those (including myself) seeing students. I have my PERs done and time signed off... Just need this exam result!

Before this thread is closed all of us should mention the paper and can we see members and access the link or not so then we can find out after the result.

I was more interested to see people who couldn’t access the link and saw student but did end up passing. So for me I’m waiting on P6 Ireland and I cannot access the link and I see students@ on ebusiness ? Best of luck everyone!!!

The ecommerce page says members!!!!! ??? OH MY GOD I DO HOPE THIS THEORY IS RIGHT! I’ve been a finalist more than once and the page has never changed before ?

The proper link is the first one...the one generally posted. I wasn't able to log in till Wednesday in the first one. From Thursday onwards I could see the grey and white page. The second one was always giving an error even after Thursday. I got this from a past post July 2017 and the same situation happened to him. I think the affiliate link cannot be available till Monday

I will make sure that if I fail to debunk this theory once and for all. So I was a finalist in December 2017 sitting p2 and p4 - I knew I failed p4 because I did not attend the hall as I felt I was not ready - e business showed @students and no tick box and link theory did not work. March 2018 - having passed p2 in December and with one exam remaining, switched to P5 - also failed with 49 (I left the exam knowing I had failed as I was so nervous and could not think straight and answer correctly) - e business showed @students and no tick box and link theory did not work. June 2018 - tried again and had a continuous 1.5 months of everyday doing past papers and attempted BPP kit twice and also acca past papers - got a bit shocked with the 20 marks on the report however there were aspects which I felt I did well and so thought if I’m lucky maybe just maybe this will be the one - this time it shows @members and tick box and link theory works so fingers crossed and either pass or fail I will make sure to report in the results page once it opens. The one thing that is certain is that if it shows @students it does not mean you failed - but if it shows @members everyone passed except for one person (we don’t know if they white lied to calm people’s nerves that got @students). And the other thing is we are a very tiny minority that post on this page compared with the total number of people that sit the exams. For sure less than 5% and as common sense tells us - to be accurate you have to have 100% participation which isn’t the case here. What’s done is done - we all worked very hard, we all want this nightmare to end so we can dedicate time to family and friends and even to our selves - we’re all working hard towards something in unity, some of us will pass and some of us will fail but we will all eventually get there if we don’t give up.
