Given that the results are approaching, I thought I’d start a topic about it.
How are we all feeling? What results are we waiting on?
I’m waiting on P6, which is my last one and second attempt. I had a dream (well actually nightmare lol) that I failed!!
I can’t get the results out of my head! It’s going to be a long two weeks!

General ACCA****June 2018 Exam Results Countdown***
Thanks for creating the thread.
I'm waiting for my F6 result. This is my first skills module paper & i'm not very confident about my result. I really hope i have done well.
The exam went okay. It was quite a lengthy one & i didn't perform it the way i would've wanted to, partly because of the time pressure & partly because of not being familiar with the exam format. Fingers crossed!
I too am waiting on my final result for P4... second attempt
Almost certain I failed P5 at first attempt.... weirdly also had a dream that I failed it too so that is maybe a good sign!! Will still wait up at night for the results tocome out, with the preofessional exams you just don't know how well or poorly you have done.
I am waiting for P6 and thats my last paper. Does anyone know when acca will publish answers for the paper as it still says coming soon on website.
In the last countdown, others claim they received emails from learning providers. Did anyone receive any this time about preparing for next session.
yes I have received emails to prepare for exams and how to pass acca exam however I believe those are general emails . Sill trying to stay positive

Sill trying to stay positiveI received a “prepare for next session” email last week too. I would think that it’s because we would still all be students right now. I read before that exam results are not uploaded until a few days before the results day. I would think that it would be at that stage, people are switched from student to member where successful and would then receive member emails. I’m hoping this is the case anyway lol
Hi all, I'm awaiting my results for P5 and P7 - both first attempts. I thought p7 went decently, but I'm a bit nervous for p5. I know this thread can tend to get a bit chaotic leading up to results day, especially with other finalists, so let me say now in the early: Good Luck to everyone! I hope we all get the result(s) we'd like to see :).
I am really scared of the results. I sat P5 for the third time and P2 for the first time. In both exams I think I did well in some questions and did awful in others whereas had areas I had no time or knowledge to answer anything to so who knows.............I just keep studying until results are out. If I fail both, I will resit P5 for a 4th time in September and do SBR in December. I had too much on my plate with 2 people dying in my family running up to the June exams plus financial year end at work.
Good luck to you all. I certainly need it.
The other thing I learnt whilst sitting ACCA exams is that it does not matter how you feel about the exam, it doesn't necessarily reflect your exam result. I see students saying how well they did in the exam then they get the result and guess what, they failed...... I see students commenting how awful they did in the exam then they get a pass. With ACCA exams you just never know. When anyone asks me how I did after sitting an exam, I tell them I don't know, I will let you know once results are out. lol :) Sad but true. :) :) Never ever be over confident about an ACCA exam because your results might be a complete opposite of how you think you did in the exam. :)

Did anyone receive any this time about preparing for next session.I received a “book your next session exam” email from ACCA last week but I believe that’s a formality and probably because we would still be students until the results get uploaded online. I heard this happens in the few days before results day. I would think that maybe it’s at this stage that any members would be switched over and wouldn’t receive session updates. I’m hoping so anyway!
I will certainly not stay awake until midnight (UK time) to get that magic text message........ Once I was silly enough to stay awake, I got a fail and I couldn't sleep all night I was crying myself to sleep, slept one hour then I had to wake up, it was a Monday morning and I had to survive a whole week at work after not sleeping just one hour Sunday night. Never again...
I always mute my phone, turn off vibration and no matter how many times I wake up at night I refuse to look at my mobile phone. :D :D At least that way, if I pass I still have a good day but if I fail god forbid then at last I had a night's sleep as opposed to crying all night, right? :D :D
Guys I know this may not be the forum but I need a question answered on behalf of a friend. She wrote F3 CBE on Thursday and she has not gotten her results neither by email nor has it been updated on her status report. Would someone be able to shed some light?

I would suggest to contact the local ACCA office immediately. They'll sort it out. I'm sure it won't be a serious issue.

Can you guys access your status report and view exam passed on your myacca portal?
@jerma said: Can you guys access your status report and view exam passed on your myacca portal?yes I can
Everyone should still have access at this time since we have over a week still before results are uploaded
@pete11 said: I’m eagerly waiting on my F6 results, I've not failed an exam yet and hope to keep it that way, especially for this paper as it’s very long and time consuming and sometimes not very logical! How did your exam go?
@pete11 said: Hi, I thought it went okay but unsure as there were a few tricky questions with the potential to lose a lot of marks if you make silly mistakes under time pressure. I sat F5 exam in March 18 which was arguably the toughest F5 exam in years and thought I did terrible but got 59%. I’m hoping I get more for F6 but you never know with these exams. Did you sit F6 too? How did it go?I sat F6 too. It was difficult initially, but the added time pressure made it harder & harder. I wasn't so confident when i came out the exam hall. I'm having dreams that i have passed, lol. I'm just hoping that i have done enough. This waiting has not let me focus on my F5 examination which i intend to attempt in September. I might end up appearing in December instead of September.
@sociopath said: This thread is moving so slow !Which is quite refreshing, in my opinion! Much rather casual conversation with everyone calmly waiting than people panicking and getting heart palpitations, clicking every page on the ACCA site to prove some new nonsense theory :) The day will be here before we know it.
I have changed my mobile number and refuse to change it on ACCA because i am not wanting my results full stop! I wont stay up and wait, i will just wait for the email on the Monday.
I know i have failed and refuse to get stressed about it. I will just pick up and resit P2 for a third time. The only difference for me next time is that i am now successfully medicated for my very bad ADHD and it is clear that i have struggled in the past because of my condition.
I wish everyone the best of luck :)
:-) Hi Ruth! I won't be staying up on Sunday night either.
I am not sure if I will open my results email as I am not in a hurry to see how badly I failed P2! I should have given myself more time before sitting the exam but what's done cannot be undone ...
In the meantime I have been studying to take the SBR exam in September or December depending on how prepared I am come 30th July.
All the best, everyone! :-)
Hi bereank :)
Yes i feel the same, dont want to know what my score was!! I havent started looking again yet, i am making good use of the rest and simply reading novels and catching up with my family. My hope is to finish this year, so resit in September on SBR and then maybe looking to do tax as my final in December.
How many have you got to do to complete?
I won't be able to fall asleep knowing full well results are out so I am going to look at my result email come what may.

Wow, tax and audit. You will be well covered. :)
They are both big subjects, i have the text books for both and they are mahooosive!! Are you hoping to finish this year or next?
I would have loved to have finished this year but next year will be more realistic. Possibly SBR in Sept/Dec, Tax in Dec/March and Audit in March/June. To be honest I am getting rather tired of sitting exams (lol) ...
