My 6th attempt landed myself to a 35% fail. I honestly do not know what to do with this paper. I used opentuition lectures and notes in my first and second attempt, then in all other attempts BPP revision. Is it wise to go back to notes and lectures after this attempt? Somebody come to my evacuation please!
MMduduzi3y ago#37
Congrats! You bring hope.

When is exam performance released??

40% on my first try. I realised there were subjects that weren't being taught or emphasised enough for me to do my paper.
KKEVIN3y ago#41
@jonnhy138 I'm also waiting for it, I Mailed ACCA, don't know how long it takes for them to update.
KKEVIN3y ago#42
@iwandilenelly Make sure to watch all the video lectures with the note by Sir John Moffat, & clear the concepts. Pm is a difficult exam & without clear concepts its impossible to pass. I expected some 75% but ended with a borderline pass of 51%. Anything is possible with this paper. Don't lose hope, u can make it !!

It takes 7-10 days to get the updated EXAM FEEDBACK tool in Myacca account after results are published.
KKEVIN3y ago#44
Exam feedback is already updated in myacca account. Everyone can check!!

I think my result doesn’t reflect what I supposed to get. Does anyone recommend administrative review? I just don’t want to waste my money
KKEVIN3y ago#46
How much did u get? If u fail by a big margin, don't apply its a waste of money! If u fail by 1 or 2 marks, maybe a chance but in past history it never changed, at least I know of.

What I understand by the feedback on my exam, Transfer Pricing is the reason to lose Marks, I wrote my best answer in the transfer Pricing question, I gave 40 minutes for the question, Answered 17 left 3 but I scored 6.4/17. It was my best answer ! SHOCKING. On Limiting factor question I answered 14 marks left 6 marks (didn't have time) I scored 11/14. I took 25 minutes to finish the limiting factor question !! I don't know, maybe I messed up the Calculations on Transfer Pricing, maybe it was hard but I expected at least 12 Marks. But it is what it is !! I'm thankful to God for a pass !! This paper is something man !!

I got like 7/20 in variances. But they said my narratives were great and idk. Application42% Knowledge82% Narrative73% Calculation27% Calculation is my weak point but i dont get how i scored that low on variances
KKEVIN3y ago#49
@jonnhy138 U should take it slow this time, as I did after failing 2 attempts, Don't appear in March, appear in June !! Do the BPP exam kit, go through all the lectures of sir John Moffat !! Practice the section C questions on Practice Platform !!I

I dodged a bullet! I got 52% on my first attempt. It was the toughest paper I've done so far and I'm overjoyed that I passed. Thank you OpenTuition! I'm forever grateful.
OOwen3y ago#51
