General ACCA*** Countdown September 2020 Results ***

I didn't receive either email, my stress levels went through roof after reading that

R u finalist. Did u receive anything else. Like December sitting email and which paper did u sit?

I’m guessing I have failed from what ACCA have said tbh

I'm not a finalist but I have not received any survey email today, the last one was on the 14th, this is really nerve wrecking :).

I am also a finalist; awaiting SBL results. I haven't received any email from acca and I thought the exam went well. The only consolation I'm giving myself is that passing this exam wouldn't have made me an affiliate because I have completed ethics, PER and time in role. Therefore once I pass I'm a member and perhaps the email was sent only to affiliates. That is what I'm telling myself through these tears. No idea how I'm going to sleep this weekend.

Okay just realised that the above is inaccurate and that I would become an affiliate. I'm absolutely gutted about this I thought the exam went well.

The only hope is that maybe they recalled some emails and mine was one of those.

Does the green bar in the exam results page mean anything?

We are all hoping that they may recalled others who did not able to open the email on that time

I saw the green bar but now it has disappeared and it just says exam results will be released on Monday.

I'm hoping so. This weekend is going to be long.

If its true ACCA sent that Email then there is no need to hold onto the Results its annoying to do such unwarranted behaviour.ACCA should not wait for Monday to release results as Emails have been sent what purpose does it serve as people are now celebrating

I rang ACCA today and spoke to a woman who asked my name, ACCA number etc. She told me that the email was not incorrect but that I should wait until Sunday for confirmation of results. I asked if the email was just early and she said yes. Not sure if she was supposed to tell me that! The email had my name on and I also received the survey email a few hours later. It's been an emotional rollercoaster I can't wait until Sunday night now

A fellow student who i studied with and who knew the syllabus inside out and who thought the exam also went well didn't receive an email either so that has given me some comfort at least.

Hopefully, they did it by regions, am grasping on straws here.

@charlotte1995 It has been confirmed if you received the email you have passed, congratulations. For those of us who didn't they've said it doesn't mean we've necessarily failed but I think that's just them trying to save face.

We will find out Monday but it's disgrace to find out this way and to keep us waiting 2 more days for inevitable.

Hi, those who are finalist and received the email from ACCA. Do you all get the email to ask to register the upcoming Dec 2020 exam?? Or any learning institution stating how to pass exam??? Thanks

I received the email congratulating me yesterday, but I am pretty sure, actually 99% sure I failed my last exam. This has really confused me! Trying not to get my hopes up.

I got the December exam email and yesterday's email. It can't sink in, be nice if acca sent us a follow up email

Feel same, upset and angry too. I had comparatively good exam AFM, was my last paper. But seems like now i have to be ready for CBE , totally heartbroken, couldn't do anything whole day , weekend will be longest

The article has said no email doesn't mean a fail but it is unnerving full stop. If they upload in batches they probably became aware quite quickly
