anyone received an affiliate email with their name not included in the contents of the email?

I think acca will never confirm if the people who received it did actually pass!! We will need to confirm this ourselves next Monday !

Agreed, guys please take note - For all who received the email, if in the event we don't pass on Monday. Lol This a joke if I am being honest.

I am so disheartened, cannot believe that ACCA has sent out emails in error. I didn’t receive one and now feel devastated.

@sbedm As I said I'm very annoyed if this turns out to be true and this is how I find out I've failed but if it turns out to actually be an error my heart really goes out for those who received the email and then get told they've failed on Monday. Now I've got 3 days to wait knowing I've likely failed, wish they'd just release the results now given they've done this.

I would be questioning anything I receive from ACCA from here onwards. Exam results is a sensitive topic and for them to release results late and then send out this email and as per above say disregard, Its un describable.

Guys those of you who actually received the email. How did your last exam go? Do you think you did well or not. One way to find out if this was actually sent in error would be for someone who didn't attempt lets say 60% of the exam to have had received that email.

I was thinking that since the results were planned to be issued last weekend but then they have extended by 1 week . This email has been programmed in the system and they forgot about it... but i think someone is getting fired from acca :p

Has anyone received this email from Canada? I am worried

I mean we're not going to get any answers now until Monday when the results are officially confirmed. Kim will come back with the standard message of "ACCA say these were sent in error and please ignore them" and ACCA will take almost zero accountability for their error of sending these before the results, we'll probably just get an apology on their website.

@feroz to be honest i am not hopeful thats why I was asking is someone received an email without their name mentioned on it. @sbedm I dont think he/she will be fired but probably will not get a salary increment :).

I haven't received email today however a few years ago it happened that they sent me email with congratulations and saying that I passed exam. Then apology email that it was an error... The ending result was that I failed hence this is very disappointing that they make again similar mistake. Also to became Affiliate you need to have PER, Objectives and EPSM module completed and I saw some people do not have this completed so how they can be Affiliate? I would wait for results to be released on Monday. Best of luck everyone!

I thought affiliate is when you have all exams done and yet PER to be done.

Ok, actually you are right. Sorry for confusion. "The ACCA qualification trainees who have passed their exams but not yet qualified for membership are called ACCA affiliates. ACCA affiliates are those who are yet to complete ACCA's practical experience requirements. If you are an affiliate then you must note the following regulations."

Exactly @gleboczko affiliate is when you either have per, ethics or work experience pending but you have successfully passed all the exams... when you have everything done you become a member

@Sherirup thanks for the confirmation. Then most likely I have not passed because everyone seems to have their name in the email.

I have just spoken to ACCA and they are saying that the email was sent in error, I don't particularly have my hopes high.
