At last! 55% 3rd time lucky. This was the least technical exam out of all the SBL exams I’ve attempted.

Your comment is a mirror image of my APM experience I did worse than I did in March.

I thought I did very well in March, but my fail was a lot below the 50-mark.

I thought I did rather bad in June, but my pass is a lot over the 50-mark.

I think what helped me a lot was the fact that I devoted some of my preparation time to practise my handwriting. I barely write by hand nowadays, so some of my essays might have been a bit visually-challenging to the markers.

A great thanks to OpenTuition community, especially to Ken Garrett for his amazing lectures.

The final question of this exam was confusing. The layout made my answer look horrendous. Apart from that I genuinely believe that someone could have passed this exam who hadn’t studied SBL and had good business sense.

I agree, both when it comes to the final question and the business sense.

I must admit that exam surprised me a lot by the fact it was hardly based on models/technical knowledge – especially in comparison with the rest. After having read the tasks I had the impression I was missing some important clues to follow and there had to be a trap that I had not noticed somehow.

was ACCA’s last exam and the first ever fail at 46, I dont know what went so wrong, attempted 79 marks and got 46 i guess that low mark attempt might be the reason but again i never did attempt more than 80-85 marks in p level exams, disappointed and confused about how to prepare for sbl now 🙁 .

After that exam which I didn’t even come close to finishing I had never been more certain that I had failed SBL. Incredibly I passed with 54%. My ACCA journey is an emotional rollercoaster. I pass all the exams I think I’ve failed and fail all the exams I’m sure I’ve passed.

    Passed on second attempt.
Link theory & e-business work, both when I failed before and when I passed this time.
This is the only paper I retake on my ACCA journey, for those who failed, don’t give up.

First attempt and passed with 66%. All the credit goes to Open Tuition. I must say ACCA Webinars helped a lot for a quick recap of the syllabus.

It is a happy start of the day indeed!!!

Passed first time with 63. My journey is over. No fails, although I was sure this one was going to be my first. The exam did feel odd I wasn’t sure what to make of it I but im glad it’s over. 4 hours is too much.
