    Hi Aniak,
I will also start from July 2020 (Pathway 2. I will choose 1 module at a time.
Can you tell me with option you choose between web support & Institute Support? If I choose Institute support than It mandatory to pay to the institute or I can do self study.

I chose the web support and. Not sure how to tackle this issue. I think it’s best to contact the uni, and ask them or maybe there is some info on the website already.

Which module are you starting in July?

    Hey Aniak,

I am doing pathway 2 in July 2020 also. I moved from parthway 1 to 2, since I’ve become a member now. Anyway, it is a bit time demanding cause there is a lot to read and the approach is really academic. I think we should get an email in June about access and stuff.

    Keep us posted also.

    Thanks,

    ED

How did you get on with Pathway 1? I bet there is a lot of studying required. I’m trying to prepare somehow for this programme. I bought a few books which I hope will help me with this academic writing. lol πŸ˜€

Are you also doing both modules in July, or one at a time?

i found pathway 1 challenging, esp the exam part which I failed. I did well with the courseworks though. I decided not to continue cause I was struggling to prepare for the exam. The whole process is really educational and I learned a lot from the experience. I am sure parthway 2 will also be challenging but I think I am ready, cause at least, I am doing it only as an additional credential to the ACCA membership rather than aiming to achieve both with pathway 1. There was a lot more pressure.

I am only doing Global Issues module in July. There’s a lot of reading involved and I am not sure if I have the energy and time to do two modules at the same time, but it is possible to do both.

Yeah I am doing one at July one at January πŸ˜€

I know that if I do them both at the same time with work and audit falling in, specially at January madness, my brain would be exploded XD

Hi Everyone. Is anyone able to assist me with the following questions that I have with regards to the Msc. I did try to contact the University but I am still waiting for their response and the registration deadline is in a few days times

    My questions are as follows
    1) Is the module in Global Finance Issues module done at the same time as the Strategic Financial Project
    2) Does full payment have to be made at the time of registration
    3) Can this qualification be completed within 6 months whilst being employed in a full time role
    4) Are there module guides so that I can understand what is required of me for each module to assess how to plan my study time
    5) How do tutors provide support considering students are located internationally within different time zones
    6) Are exam dates fixed or flexible and can a student opt when they would like to sit for their next exam
    7) For the Pathway 2 option – are exams written for both modules or how are these modules assessed
    8) Please advise what induction courses will be done from 15 June to 22 June and how long these will take to complete?

Thanks and looking forward to your responses

    Hi all the seniors,

May someone provide me with the best choice if I were to choose a further study route.
Shall I go Master UOL or Oxford Brooke ?
Benefit : I had a Degree from Oxford Brooke which meant I would get a discount.
But Oxford brooke are not exempt from CPA Australia but UOL master will be exempted. I’m not intending for CPA aust but in doubt Oxford brooke is not recognized ?Β
As both are master qualification if I choose to Oxford Brooke cost will be less compared to UOL.

    Thanks and best regards,

Hi @mapley @Neggumz and other students of MSc,

I’m also planning to begin my Msc in Jan. I am very confused if this can be done in 6 months ? without other obligations like job. I will take this Full-time, can it be done in 6 months.

I’ve heard that there are some Whatsapp Groups that are more focused on sharing info on this. Would anyone know of it and please share it.
I guess I’m finding it difficult to judge myself because i don’t know if the University itself has enough support and guidance.

If anyone can share their recent experience, it would be really helpful.

    Thank you eveyone.

Can somebody help me. I have registered underpathway2. I am extremely finding it difficult to follow Global Issues for Financial professionals. English was my medium of education for my secondary education and as well for all of my ACCA exams. But I am finding it difficult to read and understand the English language in this particular study material. Very often I have to refer a
dictionary and in few instances it says it is an informal term. I also couldn’t understand the study materials. I have not studied AFM for my ACCA optional course. Should I have prior knowledge in this subject before I learn this particular subject. Most of my ACCA papers I have studied with the self-study materials but for this module it is extremely difficult and I planning to quit the course.

    Hi,
I have done all first 9 ACCA exams and I was thinking to enroll to Master of Science in Professional Accountancy, starting from the PGCert module.
Do you have more info than UoL website about the PGCert module? Is anyone attending it?
Compared with ACCA exams is it more difficult?
Have you done an unseen written exam? What differences from ACCA exam?

    Thank you everyone.

Hi – can somebody tell me which papers of ACCA are mentioned on the MSC Transcript from University of London. Does the transcript include all Strategic Professional Papers that have been passed and does the transcript mention any marks against these papers or does it mention that these exams were exempted.

Hi, How is your study going along? Thanks for your comment because you are asking exactly what I am worrying which is deferring my decision whether to proceed with this.
I don’t have a university degree so only qualification i have is ACCA. Getting a masters will definitely helpful but I do not want it to be too difficult as I need to work full time plus overtime.
