Well done Ehsan, I knew you'd do it!! Passed with 93. Really pleased but somewhat startled. Thought I did okay but the examiner must have be more generous than I was when it came to my wordy answers. Probably too early for a drink to celebrate?
NNatalia11y ago#39
66% :)

Thanks Mubanga. Was really surprised when I saw my results as I thought I'd made a complete mess of the ZBB question and not done brilliantly on the Transfer Pricing. The examiner must have been much more generous than I was when marking myself when the official answers were released! Well done to you too - onwards and upwards!!

60%/ Against all the odds, I passed. Oh, the Euphoria! When I decided to drop out of college after only 1 month, everyone laughed at me. They called me many things, and in their minds, doomed me to fail. I dropped out of college because I felt like I was only wasting my time there, without really learning anything. I felt like I learnt a lot more at home, and saved valuable commute time. THANK YOU SO MUCH, OPEN TUITION AND MR. MOFFAT. You lot are amazing. Thank you! :)

had 2 weeks to prepare for F4, F5, F6 and passed them all 66, 63, 72 respectfully. Soooooo happy....
AAibek11y ago#46
Yeah and thank you so much opentuition for incredible videos on F5 paper. They were really helpfull.
Jjenny354911y ago#47
@zhou Not sure really. Just practiced every question I could find. F5 was probably my least favourite so far but, by the time the exams came round it was the one I went into feeling the most confident as the syllabus is not too big (compared to F9) and it's fairly computational. I just made sure I covered everything - well, everything numerical anyway. No matter how much I tried I couldn't put the same effort into budgeting types or balanced scorecard etc. Just find that stuff really boring! I know everyone says it but it's true - it's about question practice. Doing every past paper you can to get used to the style and the fact that different topics can come up in the same question.

Thought I'd failed, but passed with 51% . I was in a lot pressure as I sat f5,f6,f7 in June.. I have passed them all though.. I'm over the moon ^__^

Congrats that's brilliant ....well done. Can you give me some tips on how you achieved all this in two weeks? I have to resit f5 and f8 in September and just have one month to go. I am trying not to be discouraged. These were my first ACCA exams and though I thought I would have passed in the 50s... I got 45 and 42 respectively. I would really like some advice on your study methods. Thanks.

This paper appears to have been marked fairly hard, most people getting slightly lower mark than expected

Alhamdulillah . I am very happy for the result I have seen, I have scored 62% really not bad because this exam i had an issue with the exam center which managed the exam really very bad....... my expectation was not bad previosuely but had the problem happen I would have scored more than 80%.....

The examiners report on this F5 June 2015 exam is definitely worth reading: https://www.accaglobal.com/us/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f5/examiners-reports.html In the conclusion, it notes that "this exam sitting proved a challenge for many candidates".
