I really don’t understand this exam. Septembers sitting I worked really hard and got 31% for December I did nothing and got 48%
I need help with the PER too. [email protected]. kindly send it your me to serve as a guide. Thanks
I failed for a 5th time. 34%, 34%, 34%, 27% and now 38% despite the fact I was extremely ill overnight just hours before sitting this exam - I didn't even know if I would make it to the bus stop, let alone to the exam hall I was so ill. Just got diagnosed with primary (genetic) lactose intolerance so I will certainly not mess up another exam with eating pizza or anything else with diary in it the evening before an exam. Suprised that I gained my highest mark with what I have gone through and how dehydrated I was.
I really don't know if I should continue with ACCA because I am going to relocate to the US and over there they don't really acknowledge ACCA even though it's meant to be international.
this was my final one & passed with 56% - just applied for my membership online! literally so happy i've finally done it!!

Congrats to everyone who made it and if you did not, please never ever give up. I am proof that great things do happen if we are determined to never give up on our goals. You can do this.
Thanks, Open tuition, You guys here are simply the best.
Passed 58%. The end is in sight. SBR and SBL left.
Congrats to all that passed and keep going those who were unlucky.
What was your approach to studies? Which tuition provider did you use and with which study content please. Thanks
Any one please advice, If I start study from tomorrow for APM is it possible to pass by March session as I failed in AAA so I have to go for both AAA and APM and I am working full time and I have kid. Please advice??? If possible then How!!!
@jakeskay
BPP Text and Revision Kit, Open Tuition Lectures, Self-Study 2-3hrs per evening. Get used to theories and then questions, questions, questions.....
....and remember, if you are asked to evaluate the performance management system, evaluate the system not the performance.
Good luck.

Please advice??? If possible then How?/@tamjidat: I think your plan might be a bit ambitious..AAA and APM are both vast subjects and require more time to study if you want to study them at the proper depth. I also tried to do both together at the last September diet but i quickly realised it was shooting myself in the leg. I do not work full time and i have two little ones. I decided to defer APM till December and sat for only AAA in Sept..which I passed. I wrote APM in December, passed as well and now an affiliate. If I had continued with my over ambitious plan of writing both in a single diet in September..I am sure I would have flunked them both. So my advice is take it slow and steady, All the time left now is barely enough to study one of these subjects at the proper depth. It, s just 6 weeks, so I advise you to focus on AAA now for March since that should still be fresh. Then defer APM till June. They are both NOT a "walk in the park" type of subjects. You will get there eventually.. the rush is not worth it.
@tamjidat - If you have a question please just ask it once instead of multiple times in a short space of time. I have deleted your other 3 posts.
To answer your question, I'd say it's too much for someone with a full time job and family responsibilities. You've just failed one P level exam, so why try to do two with just 7 weeks study? You'll be setting yourself up to fail.
Focus your time on your AAA resit and give yourself the best chance of clearing it this time around. Then start studying for APM straight after, giving you 13 weeks of study time.
Failed at first attempt. Time of failures has started. First I failed last P3 making my Prize Winning P1 worthless; then I failed APM both with a 42%.
Now I stopped SBL preparation and restarted APM for March.
Please who knows if ACCA has updated their affliate list or who has checked and seen their names (I couldn’t find my name on the database). Thank you
MY ACCA STORY:
I know Acca can be frustrating particularly when you are battling with a single paper for years. The journey of my Acca was beyond imagination. I planned to finished Acca within 2-3 years, but i must tell you i finished at the time limit which is 10years, though i missed a whole year. which mean i wrote ACCA for 9years.
I have been battling with APM since June 2013 scoring marginal scores which is 40-49. Although, some years i didn't do full diet. After December 2015 that i didn't passed APM, I switched to ATX(Advanced tax) with the hope it would be better, unfortunately it wasn't better after writing it three times (Dec.2016, June &Sept 2017). Then i said to myself let me go back to APM because time was not on my side any more.
March 2018, I wrote APM again the exam was fantastic for me i was so sure i would pass, unfortunately when the result came i failed. I was so angry to the point i requested for administrative review, same story same score no changes. September 2018, i wrote again still failed, but the score was marginal.I was scared because i have an already passed paper which is P2 now SBR at risk.
I was confused, devastated but i still hope in God. A friend of mine advised me to attend those intensive class. I did findings on it, so i proceed. The lecture was so helpful because i got new insight to the best way and format to tackle the exam.
I went for the exam December 2018 at a point in the exam i was confused, i wasn't sure if i was given what the examiner what he want. After the exam, i couldn't stop praying to God for his mercy and intervention.
Here comes January 14,2019 the result was released i was so scared, i couldn't checked it, my stomach didn't stop rumbling. Finally, i checked the result and i was so happy when all i can see is passed. I passed with 56% so grateful to God for it.
Moral Lesson:
1. Don't give up on your dream be persistent
2. Always remember you are not a failure but it is circumstance that fails
3. Keep up the good attitude of you can..
4. At the end you will excel...
To those who are yet to qualify, pls don't give up. Keep persevere you will surely win... All the best.
A big thank you to open tuition cos there materials is always helpful....
God be with you alllll
