For those who didn’t make it, don’t give up
For anyone writing ACCA, I have a golden advice ensure you have at least one month for revision before exams.Cover the syllabus as fast as you can and ensure the last one month is for revision-answering questions and reading examiners comments on each question.
@hopeneverdies said: AFM...70 AAA....49....I. am in pain@hopeneverdies my naija bro, I remember you from the forums. This was me in back September with 47 in AAA, I knew I definitely had to change my technique so i took someone's advice on here to do a prepare to pass session with OT for December AAA revision. Didn't finish the exam though but passed with 61 and now an affiliate. Please hang in there, you will be fine.
AAA cleared, now 2 papers AFM & SBL. Congrats all, if you didn
t pass dont get upset, maintain the tempo and prepare for re-take. Wrote all 4 professional papers, was scared i'll fail SBR, infact i was 100% certain i failed it. I had no doubts about audit, i was 100% confident especially after watching Kashim Kamran's videos. Surprised to pass all except AAA.
@chullbulla said: Guys I have failed my final exam APM 5 times and this time with only 32 marks, I am changing to AAA now please guide me should I take International or Uk variant and how to prepare for exam, can I do via Open Tuition? really need your help-Start studying ASAP -I'd say International because you can see the mark breakdown in the paper (very important for time management) -For studies, I used OT and learn signal because they are summarised. BPP or Kaplan is cool if you can deal with the volume -For revision, practice past question papers, read examiner reports, aaa technical articles do mock exams and register for Acca prepare to pass sessions with Kashif Kamran (I think Acca will send an email to this effect). Also check youtube for his previous sessions. Goodluck
Passed AAA first attempt....got exactly 50% on attempting around 65-70% as I’m slow in writing but bingo.. hands down would refer OT videos to all the student attempting AAA.... it really helped me a lot In getting a clear picture of how to attempt the paper...? all the best
Passed my final paper, AAA and now an affiliate. I have used opentition throughout and want to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to all the tutors!!
To the entire Open Tuition Team
THANK YOU for all you do for us
THANK YOU for your labour of love
This 3 year journey has been an emotional rollercoaster
But it has finally come to an end
I can't thank you enough

Got 64% AAA Final exam! Over the moon! Finally! So happy! Link theory and tick on e business works for me!
Chullbula, my advice - study with Learn Signal. They are really good. I pass my AAA with 64% once I started with them. Before failed few times. Actually, the link theory and tick on e business proved for me. And do not give up! I know it’s painful, but you are nearly there! Finger crossed you will see the pass in April! Good luck!
Ey what is ebusines tickbox and link theory? Tx
Read December 2018 Results Countdown forum. - there are lots of discussion about it.
Allhamdulillah

This relates only to finalists those waiting for the final exam. 1. Link theory: if you are able to log in to the following link on Thursday prior to results have been released and have no error message; and able to see grey and white page with your details on, then the chance you have past your final exam is very high https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS# 2. E business: if you see the following message, then this predicts that you have pass your final exam. Message: Your name will be included in the passed finalists list, when you are eligible. If you do not wish for your name to be included, please check the box below and click ‘save’.
[_] I would like my name to be excluded from the passed finalists list. Both this theories have proved for many people in the past. I also for me.
Hopeneverdies, do not be upset! You pass one exam, and I am sure next time you will manage to pass your final one. It’s really painful to get 49%. I got 48% in the previous sittings three times for AAA and I know how you feel right now. But, I am sure you can pass it next time. Good luck to you. It’s time to say good bay to you all. It was nice to chart to you guys. All the best in your future!
Sorry about your result for AAA @hopeneverdies . What was your secret for passing AFM?
I interested in the Prepare to pass with OT resource you have mention, how do i get this resource as i have also failed my AAA
I have been scoring exactly 46 consistently for the last 4 attempts regardless of how good or bad or complete or incomplete my AAA paper is. I mean what are the odds. Could this possibly be due to anything on there side?
