I dont understand why the profit on the sale of PPE is deducted from the pre acq profits, when the transaction took place after the DOA.

hi. I would like to know for the calculation of pups, why do we decrease the inventory by the unrealised profits in the seller’s records?
    Thanks

we dont decrease inventory by unreaslised profits in sellers records. its the buyers records we adjust for the value of inventory because the inventory is now recorded in its records. The unrealised profit earned by the seller is charged to its reserves.

Sorry about that, the above statement is missing a word “view”. It should read: I am unable to view the video.
