Grainne made a postal offer to buy goods from Harry, but immediately changed her mind and hand-delivered a letter to inform Harry of this on the same day.
Pavel sent an email offering to buy goods from Yuri but communicated his change of mind before Yuri had a chance to respond.

Have Grainne and Pavel withdrawn their offers, or revoked them under then UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods?

    A. Grainne- withdrawn, Pavel- Revoked
    B. Grainne- withdrawn, Pavel – withdrawn
    C. Grainne – revoked, Pavel – withdrawn
    D. Grainne- revoked, Pavel -Revoked

(Yes, these are the exact words from question)

Sir, I was not sure of why the answer was A instead of B.

Technically, Withdrawal can be made before or at the same time as offer is received. Revocation occurs after the offer is received but before acceptance.

And both Grainne and Pavel is before acceptance and at the same time offer is received? So both are withdrawn ..?

“And both Grainne and Pavel is before acceptance and at the same time offer is received?”

Where have you got that idea from? Pavel received an email but then later changed his mind before Yuri had accepted. So Pavel’s action is a revocation

Grainne changed her mind and communicated that by hand delivery before Harry had even received the offer. So Grainne withdrew her offer

So the answer must be option A

It cannot be option B – the offer to Pavel could only be withdrawn before Pavel had received it. But it was sent by email so that’s instant communication and Pavel must have received the offer. Therefore withdrawal is not an option in the case of Pavel

You need to be much more careful in your assumptions – I still don’t see how you could think that “both Grainne and Pavel is before acceptance and at the same time offer is received?”
