Always check ACCA’s live timetable and myACCA before making an exam booking. Dates, availability and entry conditions can change.
ACCA publishes the authoritative timetable, exam-entry deadlines, results dates and administrative deadlines. This guide explains what students need to watch, but it deliberately does not duplicate a dated calendar that can become inaccurate.

2026 ACCA session dates at a glance
The following key dates have been checked against ACCA’s published calendar on 12 July 2026. All ACCA deadlines below are at 23:59 UK time. Check the official calendar before acting, especially if ACCA changes a deadline or your paper has a local variant.
| Session | Standard entry | Late entry | Exam week | Results |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| September 2026 | 27 July 2026 | 3 August 2026 | 7–11 September 2026 | 19 October 2026 |
| December 2026 | 2 November 2026 | 9 November 2026 | 7–11 December 2026 | 18 January 2027 |
For both sessions, the deadline to amend an existing entry or request additional support is the standard-entry date. ACCA publishes separate deadlines for centre complaints, mitigating circumstances, cancellations, reviews and appeals; use the live calendar for those.
September 2026: which paper is on which day?
The following is ACCA’s published centre-based timetable for the September session. Check your myACCA Exam Planner and attendance docket for your local start time, centre and the exact paper/variant you have entered.
| Date | ACCA exams |
|---|---|
| Monday 7 September | AA · AAA |
| Tuesday 8 September | TX · SBL · ATX |
| Wednesday 9 September | PM · APM |
| Thursday 10 September | FR · SBR |
| Friday 11 September | FM · LW · AFM |
BT, MA, FA and the English and Global LW variants are on-demand CBEs, rather than part of this session timetable. Other variants and qualifications may have different availability.
December 2026 paper timetable
ACCA has confirmed that the December session runs from 7–11 December 2026, but its public timetable has not yet published the paper-by-paper day allocation. We will add it here as soon as ACCA publishes it. Do not assume that the September pattern will repeat: use the official ACCA timetable and your attendance docket.
Know the four session windows
Session exams are normally held in March, June, September and December. ACCA publishes the exact exam week, entry dates and results date for each session. Some variants are available only in the June and December sessions, so check the timetable for your paper and variant before planning a study schedule.
On-demand CBEs, including Applied Knowledge and eligible LW variants, are booked separately through ACCA’s approved arrangements. Their availability depends on your location and exam centre or remote provision.
The dates that matter most
- Standard entry deadline: the normal deadline for entering or amending a session exam. This is usually the most economical booking window.
- Late entry deadline: where ACCA offers it, a later opportunity to enter under the stated conditions and fee. Do not assume it is available for every session.
- Additional-support deadline: requests for reasonable adjustments need to be made by ACCA’s published deadline.
- Attendance docket and exam week: check myACCA when your docket is released and confirm your centre, timetable and identification requirements.
- Results date: ACCA publishes the release date for each session. Check myACCA for your result and any relevant post-results options.
- Administrative deadlines: complaints, mitigating circumstances, cancellations, reviews and appeals each have their own deadlines.
Book safely
- Confirm that you are eligible under ACCA’s current progression rules.
- Check the exact paper, variant and session availability in myACCA.
- Choose an exam date only after creating a realistic study and revision plan.
- Record the standard deadline, any amendment deadline and the exam date in your own calendar.
- Review the booking confirmation and attendance docket as soon as they are available.
Annual subscription and personal deadlines
ACCA’s annual student subscription is normally due on 1 January. Fees, entry windows and eligibility are personal administrative matters, so check the notices in myACCA rather than relying on an old screenshot, forum post or copied timetable.
OpenTuition tutor advice
Do not book an exam simply because the deadline is approaching. Book when you can complete the syllabus, practise in the CBE environment and protect time for timed revision. If you have a personal or technical issue close to an exam, follow ACCA’s official instructions promptly; deadlines for mitigating circumstances and other applications are strict.
