Hi Dear tutor, I have a question. there must be difference in the case of dividend about to be paid and has just paid.
Example 1
Dividend paid per share per year 0.2
nominal value of per share 1
rate of return 10%
current market value per sahre 2
can we say here 2 @ is cum div when we deduct 0.2 we get ex div.is this right?if it was mentioned as to be paid then 2 would be ex div and plus 0.2 cum div 2.02
