You are required to give enough information/analysis/evaluation to pass the rap. But you find that 7500 words are not enough and they are really not enough. So what to do? Use graphics. Yes provide your information in shape of Tables, Graphs, Pictures, Smart art of ms word (don't forget to reference them). Use graphics in all three parts where ever possible. Graphics is word-efficient way to provide information.

can anyone give me some advice on the outlay of the project in terms of headings and sub headings. in using the suggested structure for the research report in OBU Information pack. do i outlay it by rewriting the different requirements as headings and sub headings ? gracious for your support in advance.
The Information Pack suggested structure though helpful is 'one size fits all' in that it is trying to set a layout for all 20 topics.
Headings and subheadings are all very important in giving a good structure to your work and these will vary from topic to topic. Work should be well set out with ample use of appropriate headings and subheadings. These should be used to group an idea together and to make your work easier to follow. Use of different size fonts, bold and underlining are also used to help create a coherent structure within the report.

I am writing up the analysis for Topic 8.
So I have this doubt which I need to get clarified.
If I'm writing a paragraph for gross margins, and I have used figures from the annual report and figures from my ratio calculations, how do I properly reference them.
I understand how to reference the annual report figures.
but what about the ratio calculations? For example, Do I say.."In 2016, gross margin improved 60 basis points to 32.5% (Spreadsheet) ?

Yes you more or less reference it as you have suggested but try to be specific. Tell the reader which table to look at to find your calculation so either (Appendix 4) say, if you are numbering the tabs or give the name of the worksheet. Some people reference the graphs as "Source: Appendix 4"
As long as the reader can find the calculation that is the important thing.

Do I have to refer my excel file in the RAP report. i.e. 'Company A's revenue in 2017 was USD 100 Million, 10% increased from last year.'
If yes, then what will be the further name and working name ?
