Hi sir,
In EPS calculations
1) how to arrive to this figure 16850,000
2) how to know that the number of shares used in q are only at ye not the w.average ?
In other words, if it correctly used weighted average how it will be mentioned in q
Thanks
1) You don’t have to know how it has been arrived it – in the absence of further information you must take it at face value.
2) The question clearly states “Number of equity shares at 31 May 2018 … 16,850,000”
– which is the year end.
It could be weighted average also if there were no changes during the year but there were changes during the year (“The listing and related share issue raised a significant amount of finance …”)
