We are meeting tomorrow at 19.30 UK time in the chatroom.

The structure of the session is:

Questions on the following chapters that cover section A of syllabus:

- Introduction to strategic management accounting
- Appraisal of alternative approaches to budgeting for control
- Changes in business structure and management accounting
- Effect of IT on modern management accounting

The content related to this chapters can be found in BPP course notes, text and OT.

What I suggest is you read before the session. I propose to do the following during the session:

- Discuss any questions we have about these chapters
- Do an exam question: the BPP exam questions related to this area go from question 1 to 18. I think question 1 on strategic analysis is a good one but if you want to do a different one, just shout

I'm not studying P5 yet, but just wanted to say my word.
Looks like no one came to first session. It's very familiar to me , as i'm hosting sessions regularly here, and first time i had the same situation.

Look , majority of people here don't borther to check forum for updates . At all.
U see, they even didn't read your first post carefully,
u didn't propose to lead session , but they started to give u their e-mails.

So everyone expects that u will collect their e-mails and will be messaging them.
And most of those people even if they come at first time, they will dissapear.
Because such attitude shows lack of real motivation ..

So u can either make a separate post , called : P5 study sessions, with your prelimany schedule and topics to prepare ., then see if anyone come to session.
or collect those e-mail addresses and message those people. Or do these two together.
Hopefully u'll find some dedicated fellow students here.

well, that says it all.

However, you know, with my F4 glo dec sessions, no one showed up most of the time.
However i was just staying in the room and waiting , sometimes some people showed up just to talk.
But with time (after first couple of weeks), one girl appeared, who is now one of my good friends and she keeps studying further papers with me.

If u want to have a study buddy or two , i'm sure u can find some ..it just takes time and for the moment keep up the good work.

As the deadline approaches , more and more people will suddenly remember about studies :)
