There will be some questions you should be able to attempt after covering just the related topic - like an OT-case Q on ethics and possibly an internal controls Q on a particular transaction cycle - but for a 30-mark planning Q you will need also to have covered audit procedures. So if you start a Q and realise you can't make a reasonable attempt at it you should leave it until you have studied more chapters.
