SBRReally big P2 question- help!

KKerry11y ago
Hi I'm taking P2 (int) this June. My study materials won't be here until end of next week at the earliest but I feel I need to get started! The problem I've got is that I never did F7. I did 2.5 on the old syllabus which I believe is the predecessor of F7. Now 2.5 was a UK streamed paper (I don't recall there being a choice at the time) and at the time, most of the IAS's weren't written (think I took it around 2004ish). And to be fair I've never worked for a company that doesn't still use UK standards. So what I need to know is, if I use IASplus, do I just need to learn the IAS's/IFRS's and if so, which ones? All of them?? Any help would be very much appreciated :-)

https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/f7/f7-p2int-uk-d14-j15.pdf Learn by heart relevant IAS and IFRS. Articles by examiner are very important. Don't go through study text. If you master consolidations, if you know the IAS/IFRS and you know current issues + past paper question practice you cannot fail. But don't spend too much time on consolidations - you will soon understand that knowing your IAS/IFRS is more important than doing 'perfect consolidations' in this paper.

Thank you seagoat - that link is particularly useful, seems the answer to which ones to learn is in fact, all!
