Hi,
can you please confirm the layout of the proforma, i am using Kaplan books and they put the total column first before the non-saving income. I have been doing it the way the open tution tutor shown and it seems to make more sense with the total column last.
My question is does it matter in the exam which layout to use, would you get marked down?
Thanks
Vicki
Only now seen your question so firstly my apology for delay! It does not matter whether you put total column first or last. What does matter is the order in which you then put the analysis columns as Reliefs and Personal Allowance are deducted first from non savings then savings and finally dividend income.
