    Hi,

Are there any presentation marks given?
Also would you penalised for just writing SOFP/SPLOCI instead of the full sentence?
Are there format templates anywhere on this site?

    TIA.

“Are there any presentation marks given?”

None at all! But you must keep your workings neat and legible so the marker is able to follow what you’ve done – particularly important when you have made a mistake

“Also would you penalised for just writing SOFP/SPLOCI instead of the full sentence?” – neither of the abbreviations you have quoted is a sentence and, in fact, there’s only one abbreviation that I use that IS a full sentence. This is an accounting exam! It’s not an examination to determine that you are capable of writing “Statement of Financial Position”

    Abbreviate!

“Are there format templates anywhere on this site?” – not that I’m aware of and not in F7. Maybe the opening pages of the chapter on cash flows could be called a format template …. but it was not intended to be one. Why do you ask? Are you thinking of writing out proformas in the exam (SoFP, SoPorL, SoCF) and you are going to learn them to pick up easy marks? Is that what’s going through your mind?
