    Yes, you should discuss PEST or SWOT in a separate section of your report, however, where possible try to link to your ratio analysis as much as possible.

    PEST and SWOT models are recommended over Poters 5 forces but it depends on your set research questions. You need to choose the most appropriate models ensuring you research questions are answered.

    How do l present my SWOT and PESTLE for both companies if they have similar points and some points are different

    I would suggest to avoid repeating the same points for both the models and try to identify new as much as possible. Still, if you have to mention the same point, mention is one model where its the most suited and link to the other.

    I mean suppose both companies have issues related to tarrifs,which is a similar point and then they also have different points,assuming we are looking a one model,how do l present the points the report,do l say for example the similar external factors affecting by both companies are as follows and then write them and then say different factors affecting the companies are as follows

    When doing the PEST analysis do l have to do for the comparator or the main company is enough and if yes then l have to link the financial analysis of the comparator too right
