I think you'll find that just short of 1,000 Pakistani students became affiliates as a result of their successes in June. Of these, only 15 students have a registered 7 digit number beginning with a "0" indicating that they have been registered with ACCA rather longer than those students whose numbers begin with a "1" or a "2". (Imran Yousef is the longest registered that I spotted) So your little rant about Pakistani students suffering for decades is really a bit short on supporting evidence :-( .... ...and you think you deserve to pass an Advanced Auditing exam paper!

P7 the lowest mark ever, just 37 (1 attempt) while P2 one of the highest 67 (1 attempt) ...weren't they supposed to be tied somehow .. now I have to clear the options which now appear very very challenging really don't know where the improvements could be carried out (except handwriting of course, but how can one improve it under pressure conditions ? ANY SUGGESTIONS ?) answered to all questions and points made (as far as I remember) were many of those identified in the examiners report, most probably they were not deep enough .. oh I really would like to know .. :) How to tackle the next sitting, any suggestions ? thanks a lot

44% I only did two questions and once I started cashflow time was over, it is my first attempt and Is the only exam i did for ACCA. I had enough preparation with Francis Braganza. Anyone who knows exam technique

57% Sheer Gods blessing. Read for this paper in 3weeks. Woot!

Passed P7 on third attempt with a 50, 47 in P5 though. not happy! To all those who affiliated, Congratulations ! It was your hard work that made you earn this for sure. Unfortunately, I couldn't in this attempt. I realised i've only concentrated on Self study (books and past papers) and refresher classes in these three attempts . Comments here around the globe suggest that OpenTuition is a vital resource itself. I hope i get patience andlooking forward for a well welcomed support from OT and other students.

passed with 60% on 2nd attempt. exam technique is important. practising past year questions (i did the whole bpp kit). and also revising some P2 knowledge. previous attempt coz did not revise P2 standards and lack exam practice.

You may have had enough preparation with Francis but he clearly was unsuccessful in impressing upon you the importance of exam technique and time allocation / time management. How, on this Earth, do you expect to pass a professional exam when you attempt only two questions? There are people who claim to have passed examinations and attempted less than 100% of the requirement. Trust me, it's a dangerous path to tread and invariably leads to failure. As I say, there are exceptions - but they are a tiny minority

Fail p7 FOUR TIMES and fail p3 SEVEN TIMES.... I'm so tired of trying. I put in so much work all the time. I complete the course notes and then do the exams kit at least twice for every sitting. I don't know what to do again. and crying can't help. just fed up................ but to God be the glory, for I will try until I pass. and what a day that will be.

There are 2 main things that one has to do to pass this paper - (1) Read P2 extensively focussing on IASs. Read them over and over again and view videos via Youtube (2) Read the P7 BPP KIT and recent past papers - over and over again. You can never go wrong!
