Hello,
I am hoping to take the P2 exam in December. I did not realise I have to choose a version.
Please advise which is better for me, I am assuming the UK since I live and work in the UK.
When I took F7 last year, I did not have a choice, it was F7 Int.Are there lots of differences between the two?
Also is it sufficient for me to watch your videos, alongside the notes and practise loads using an exam kit? Or do I need to read through a text book too??
I would really appreciate your advise/opinions on the above.
Ps I am a mum working full time. I’ve read that P2 is a beast, do you think it’s possible to revise in 3 months? I can probably study for only a couple of hours 2 evenings a week and one whole day at the weekend…….
Thank you:)

If you’ve studied F7 under the international variant then you should do P2 likewise.
If you watch the videos, work through the past exams and stick to your study schedule as mentioned above then you will give yourself every chance of success.
P2 is a tough exam but the people who pass are the ones who study correctly.
Thanks

September 23, 2017 at 12:38 pm #408422Hello,
I have read through your answer to the OP and i also have the same intent of writing P2 international..but i did read on the ACCA website that in order to be able to practice as registered auditor in the UK, one must have chosen the UK version of P2 and P7..Please do you have any insight to this?
Also are the differences between the UK and International versions very wide?
Thanks.
September 24, 2017 at 9:25 pm #408537Hi,
The differences between the two are not huge and there is a link to them on the ACCA P2 page here.
With regards to your point on being a registered auditor in the UK then you need to speak to the ACCA directly on the student helpline.
Thanks
