Yes, i think the results is release in batches. I’m second attempt so during the 1st time where i fail the rap i did receive email also stated that I’m not succeed. As per the latest email from OBU state that the feedback for those who failed will received at end of September. So should be pass or not pass will receive results today, but not the feedback yet for those who failed

was thinking about the same thing

hoping this is not the case. i do not know how these batches work and cant seem to find anything online. waiting for OBU's result has become quite frustrating now. there is no clear answer as to when i will receive it.

Just to find out if anyone knows how long it takes to receive the transcript of the results? Secondly, can I present the same email to my existing employers for considerations?

Just received my results in email, luckily I passed. First attemp. I was kept refreshing my email, finally got my answer.

By the Grace of god, passed. Received my email 11:04 AM KSA time.

Result received at 9:04 am UK time. Thank God I passed. Can somebody tell me if we're going to receive softcopies of our transcript, pass letter and award confirmation letter and when.

Never mind, they've re-sent mine,it was orgiginally sent at 9.04 this morning! it dissapeared into my e-mail somehow.....i've passed :) so pleased

Failed. Surprised. I was expecting an A grade.

Yes there have been some very inconsistent and worrying results this session. I graded a student as an A who got a C and with two students who both did the same topic and organisation: I had him down as a borderline pass and hers as a B. He got the B and she failed so I have no idea what has gone on as this is madness! So you have my sympathy!

Anyone who hasn't gotten their email. Make sure to check the junk mail. I was refreshing my outlook app on the phone to see no new mail and the app had no junk folder. That's when I logged on by PC and checked the junk folder and found my email from OBU.

I also failed and was shocked. I am interested to see the markers response and I will be asking for a remark.

Is this the first time this sort of thing has happened to you? I achieved a C in mine.....with no point of reference, but I was in a position that my RAP grade would have no affect on my degree classification as long as I passed. Sounds really concerning though for those that believed they had done well and have failed!, especially as someone with your experience doesn't seem to agree with the grades

You will understand that as i have not seen the feedback re the case where I expected the student to get a B, I must at this stage reserve judgment. After all maybe her report did get a B grade but failed on the SLS so she would only be informed that she had failed overall. (The SLS is something where though I offer some help and guidance of necessity should be the student's own ideas based on their own unique learning and development experience). However I do have a point of reference regarding the A that turned into a C at the hands of the P38 marker as a student from P37 did the same topic and organisation. The P37 student iIMO was awarded an appropriate grade i.e. a C. If the two reports are compared there is no way their standards are equal. The P38 student did not - to cite the P38 assessment criteria for a C for example for evaluation - do "SOME analysis but a tendency towards description rather than analysis and evaluation" or provide "LIMITED analysis of the context in which the information is gathered or of the organisations's operations' - there was extensive analysis and appropriate discussion in the report demonstrating critical thought which should (according to OBU's own assessment criteria) have led to a higher grade. Ironically I had said to the student back in May at the time of submission that if it didn't get an A grade then he would have been robbed by the marker. As it turns out my words were sadly, indeed prophetic! PS In fact his grade like yours will not have affected his degree classification. He will still get First Class honours but that misses the point that two reports that are of widely differing standards both got a C grade indicating - now to quote Shakespeare - "That something is rotten in the State of Denmark"!!!!

Thanks Gillian. I'm still hoping I got an A but failed only the SLS essay question 1, because although strengths and weaknesses can be gleaned from my answer, I didn't explicitly say that these were my strengths and these were my weaknesses.

I failed and am really shocked. Okay I wasn't confident about an A but I definitely didn't expect a fail. Even my senior who had read my report didn't believe when I first told him of the result. Waiting to get the feedback :/

I recevied my feedback and i need to go for appeal as they failed me only in one thing that i chose the wrong comparator. My feedback stated *2. Application of Accountancy/Business Models Fail J&P is not a relevant and effective comparator/benchmark. This should have been apparent from your initial ratio analysis. You should find another more successful comparator which is not relying on the sale of its land and building to rescue itself.* As my main organisation was seimens which also turned profitable after years of being in loss by selling its land and building. I chose the comparator who was also trying to turn profitable by the same method. Also these 2 organisations were taken by many students in p37 and they passed. I passed in everything else. How to i appeal for this?
