I am really upset that emails are not displaying student names and/or ACCA reg.number

I have same email too. It says that the RAP i submitted did not meet their standards. What should we do @gillianm

@farzana I don't see how you can appeal until you have seen the feedback -as you need to see which criteria it failed on. I agree it is disturbing that the emails do not show your name and reg.no, however I would expect your feedback to show these details. When you get the feedback you need to read the comments. Most Topic 8 reports fail on evaluation and as the work is more descriptive and lacking depth of analysis (see Appendix 3 of the Info Pack)

@Gillian M definitely appeal will be once i get the feedback but in general i believe while completing the RAP i made sure the assessment criteria is met... my mentor also believed that i could easily get a pass. While my friends were struggling at last moment ,they passed...

Of corse you haven't received the transcript yet - the email specifically said : " A hard copy of your transcript, pass letter and award confirmation letter will be sent to you in due course" - it did NOT state ' immediately' So expect at least 2 - 4 weeks!

@coki888 - well you are in the UK - overseas students will probably have to wait 2- 4 weeks depending on local postal services!

I have not received my result letter yet, I am wondering that results letter would state to confirmthe class of the degree or just for the class of the RAP class? I have email to OBU today to request them for send me a photocopy sheet of the results as I needed the certificate so urgently but OBU certificate center told me that they can not issue my certificate until ACCA office has put the results on their system and the ACCA office has informed them that it would take a number of weeks to do so. my understand is that the result letter is only state that you are A or B or C for the RAP if I am wrong please correct me.

The letter does have both the degree classification and RAP result.

Thank you for your reply and congratulations for your first class of Hons. I just wondering why the dont send it by email need to wait for very long time. By the way have you got your certificate yet?

I have not received the ACCA certificate (wasn't aware there was one to be honest) but can see on my eBusiness login under "General Details" the following: You have completed the ACCA/Oxford Brookes Degree examination.

I do not know about the eBussines and would you mind to share with me link. Thank you for the information sharing.

If you are a member, it is the site you login to when going through the ACCA Portal and then Administer Your Account. Not sure how to view if you are a Student, think the exam results page just shows whether you have completed the ACCA side of the degree.

I see , for the students there is nowhere to check for the results as I have checked just now. But thanks for your help. I think I would like to send them an email to request for the results letter but do not know they will do this for me or not.

A degree certificate will be sent by post to all successful students by Oxford Brookes University. As this is a separate department from the ACCA Brookes office the process can take several months (which is normal for most UK universities). Again this is sent to the address that is held on record.

No, Not even the results letter. I have also sent an email to request the certificate but they said ACCA office needed a number of weeks to input the results to the system. It means that they still not issue the certificate yet and the certificate is not ready to be send out. You need to be patient and wait for a few weeks or months.

Kindly please let me know How will we know that our transcript has arrived ? Is it come directly to our home address or at postal office ?? DID Anyone received transcript in KUWAIT ??? Thank you

Hi GillianM, I Received my result saying I did not pass my Research and Analysis Project. The feedback report shows all passed, except for Information Technology which is a fail, stating: "To fully demonstrate your IT skills your spreadsheet must incorporate some formulae to do calculations, e.g. of financial ratios. Look at page 74 of the information pack where you will see the pass/fail criteria used in evaluating information technology skills. Under FAIL it states “little evidence of use of appropriate formulae in spreadsheet”. You must use more extensive formulae, including formula that links cell references rather than just numbers" I did my project on topic 17, Carillion as the Business and I did input data and made graph in the excel. To make sure I understand what they are asking, my question is, do I need to make some ratio calculation in the same excel spreadsheet that I submitted to OBU? And do I need to include it in the graph that I made?
