Need help for Performance Objective Exemption

I actually work for an approved employer... i have already claimed 15 months of time from my previous employer . I just wanted to know if i should do a full 36 months at an approved employer to be eligible for performance objecive exemption or a apply for exemption with less than 36 months? thanks in advance for your help
