    Passed with 66%

Absolutely buzzing as I took this at the same time as AA and thought I’d bombed it.

Thank you so much to Chris and OpenTuition, you really are amazing.

66%, one of the toughest exams I’ve ever sat and I’d convinced myself that I’d failed. So so happy….5 more to go!

Failed with 49% resit. I thought I did enough for a pass this time after getting 48% in my first attempt. I don’t know what to do!

failed with 43 on my first attempt. But not even sure how to restart. I had started taking lectures for Audit, and wondering if I should do them both on the next sitting after failing this one.

Jbasir, don’t lose hope. I would advise question practise. Don’t waste time on trying to read and learn text as application is more important and question practice will help. Since you’ve done the text already I would advise look at the topics which you are uncomfortable with and spend 2-3 days to make notes for each of those topics and go through before you cover the questions for those area. All the best for your next attempt.

I’d restart by looking through the syllabus and identifying your weakest areas. Could it be that you aren’t as good as you could be on the analysis questions as this is where a lot of students struggle. With a mark of 43 then I’d have thought that you have a reasonable knowledge of the syllabus but need to practise the questions under exam conditions, so to time, without using the notes and also using the exam software. Good luck and when you get stuck then please post your queries on the forum.

Please sir, can you tell me how you prepared for the exam? What did you do? Did you only practice the all questions on both books and past papers more than twice? And what do you recommend me to do for 90+ mark?

Passed with 64% first attempt. Absolutely thrilled as the exam portal was down until 20 minutes before the exam and then I had technical issues with my laptop during the exam so I was sure I had failed!
