SBL* June 2021 ACCA SBL Exam Results * Instant Poll and Comments

Failed with 46% 1st attempt am so gutted right now. I was hoping for 50 above. Hard feelings.

Pass 60% with second attempt (first fail was p1 in 2015). Actually expected more, like 80-90, felt I did better. Two exams to go.

Passed with a 71. Very happy. Used a mix of OT notes and ACCA material

Passed SBL and ATX with 54% first time pass for both, which draws an end to my ACCA journey. Was a rough ride but stuck with it and it felt great seeing an end to this qualification. Don’t get bogged down by the models, as I have only used one throughout the entire exam to structure my answer. Beforehand I proper learned the terms used for each model, but I would say that just understand the theory behind each model and apply that knowledge where appropriate. Good luck to all with the remaining exams.

How fast should one typing speed be guys. I'm struggling with typing speed in these exams. Passed my first two strategic exams with ease with paper based. I'm struggling now with CBE exams.

Passed 57% used OT notes and lectures. Hassan Dossani youtube lectures ACCA articles and any other ACCA webinars available on Youtube from lecturers 2 more to go AAA+ATX

First sitting and got 74! I didn’t expect the result to be as good. Thanks OT!

I connot accept the fail result for only 41% I thought it would be 60% at least since I complete all the questions with confidence. Wanna quit now.

Up to now, I could not believe and understand how I can pass. The first question relate to fifth exhibition (normally relate to 2nd or 3rd exhibition) and only ask about the"tone" of the CEO in the email. I even can not utilise the exhibition about the financial for the analysis. I estimated my score around 35-45 only. Maybe I wrote something properly in the exam and which help I pass. Well, my SBL score is only 53 for first attempt. But in contrast, I felt AFM with 49 point for my first attempt. I will back to this paper in Sep 21. Good luck to all of you

Well ACCA know we using the keyboard instead of writing, hence their exam would be more longer or require more computer skill such as cut or copy. I attended AFM in this Jun 21 also and their format for answer is repeat and require computer skills. I think you should spend for more on practicing on the ACCA's website to get use to the CBE exam.

@anikedisu thanks a lot for your encouraging words. I will not give up for sure, 1 point away from a dream come true. I will work more and hopefully get it in September.

I thank God i passed with 58%.1 more paper to go.

Sat SBL and SBR in June and got 90% and 80% respectively (also my final exams - yay!) SBL is all about technique, there is very little technical knowledge needed, although do make sure you're hot on all things governance and risk. I sat APM in March which potentially helped as I already had knowledge of models such as Mendelow's matrix. I can imagine lots of people panic when sitting this exam as there is a lot of content to take it. Make sure you spend to the first 30-45 minutes reading through it all, taking a few notes, and identifying which exhibition relates to which requirement (read the requirements first). Then start with whatever you feel is the easiest requirement.

First Attempt, Passed with 60%, THanks to Allah. I am grateful to OpenTuition and learnsigal. too more to go. for those who did not pass dont give up it happens pick it up and prepare for September, don't hesitate.

you need to focus on exam practice . modules are not required . but you need them to structure your answer. pls try again do not give up.

first attempt 32%, I think my study planning is not good. as I self-study, I spend my time for text book & remember all theory & model. also spend some time for study past paper. I would like to know how to focus on exam practice ? need to remember all model & theory? Thanks.
