just a query that can we do part i) of options of june 14 q-1 using the method that u teach in forex mgt options part 3 of lectures.in june q u have used forward rate and it bit confusing,that u never used in your teaching lecture.
He has only used the forward rate in respect of the over/under hedge, and I certainly do mention this in my lectures (although it is a minor point and you would get the marks by simply mentioning it without actually calculating that little bit).
Otherwise it is exactly as I do in the lectures!It might help you to watch my lecture working through this question in full. (I have uploaded lectures working through a few recent question 1’s – I don’t only work through the technical aspects, but also discuss the approach to the questions, because that is half the problem with the question 1’s in the exam 🙂 )
