How everyone,
I’m sorry if someone has already asked this question but I haven’t been able to find an answer in the history of the discussion…
I am going to start F3 in about a month and have been wondering whether to study with just the course book is enough for this paper. It seemed to me a waste of money to get the whole course for F1 so I though it might be similar here… I have completed an OPen University bookkeeping course and am familiar with double entry so I do have some kind of grounding.
What do you think???
Thanks very much for your comments!!!

I’ve just passed F3 as CBE exam – coursebook (textbook) is useful, but the key to success is to practice the exam type questions.
As long as you go through the exam kit the F3 shouldn’t be a problem – since you do have some accounting background is is all about getting used to the questions.
Good luckAugust 5, 2010 at 10:37 pm #65474Thanks so much pam444!!
I was definitely gonna do all the exam kits, just wasn’t sure whether to buy the whole course with tutor support. I should be ok with just the book then :).
Congratulations on the pass and thanks a lot again for the comment!
