Hi
Thank you for all your videos it has been very helpful.
With regards to interpretation of Financial statements in a scenario where a disposal of a subsidiary has happened mid year. We are asked to comment on the performance including the impact of the disposal. The answer had a section for “appendix” to rework the CSFP and CSPl without the disposal. Is this necessary in an exam answer. I’m worried about how much time to attribute to this question
Many thanks
MG
Hi,
Glad you’ve enjoyed the videos.
I’d definitely look to make some form of adjustment if there has been a disposal to see the results following the disposal as this will give a more accurate outlook of what to expect in the future. You don’t need to go crazy with it but you need to acknowledge that it has an impact on the numbers and the interpretation.
Thanks
