AA** F8 Exam Results June 2013 and Genius Hunt Competition **

Alhamdulilah Finally after 5-6 attempts i passed F8 ! This paper had been haunting me for years lol.... am so pleased and happy i have cleared this time. I hope i can do the same with f5 now. Can someone suggest shall i do f7 or f9 with f5 ? My personal opinion for those who failed - you need to practice solving questions mostly to the auditor point of view and you need to be critical to what you write - do not over burden with lot of unwanted information and stick to what the question demands you to write and not what you may feel or think could be the soln. And practice minimum 5 years paper in real exam situation and mark accordingly for your self - This will guide you where you are :) All the best !! Anyways am happy this time but for those who failed do not get disappointed as I BE YOU CAN DO IT :) Go for it bro & sis ! All the best in Dec 2013 ! i failed f8 with 37%.i am very disappointed because i wrote on all questions and i expected that i would pass. it is very low result. i think that it would be better to ask for a copy of my exam. otherwise i would be inefficient in preparing for the second attempt. what do you think?

Failed both F7 and F8 :( This time I am going to use Open Tuition and use a revision kit! In December I will have to retake F7 F8 and the new subject for me F9 just to keep on track with what work expects. Is this possible? And does anyone want a study buddy? I have to pass in December although all my confidence has taken a major hit. I really thought I would pass........ :(

I am also considering requesting a copy of my exam papers. Only because I would like to see where I went wrong. I think the ACCA charge you £50 for this though?

You are right , actually I expected at least 60 and got 35 which I think is unjustifiable. Anyway I am not discouraged at all. I am going to crash whatever this examiner will set in December.

I passed with 72 on my first attempt. I had a strong feeling I was going to pass but had never thought of anything beyond 70. In fact out of all my ACCA results, this is the highest marks I ever got. Feel very blessed and happy :) Open tuition notes do helped me a lot during my revision along the way in preparing myself to sit for f8 june 2013 exam. The note is so occupied and complete. It guided me well in ansuring I covered everything that I should know for the exam purpose. Thank you open tuition :)

Sorry to hear your result, hope you manage to pass it next time. I was only apprehensive based on what others had said. After the exam I calculated that I had got at least 55% worst scenario, and any more was a bonus. I still doubt myself though.
