Since, most of the tutors here are past exam checkers also, i do have a query? Do checkers have an access to the student’s previous exams performances including
What their last subject of attempt was, the marks scored, the attempt date, the number of attempts in that particular paper, the past marks in the attempts.
I just wanted to make a clear idea that, if a candidate has failed miserably in the previous attempt, will it hamper or cause any difference in the next attempts they would give ?
Definitely NO – all “scripts” are anonymous and distributed randomly to markers. No one involved in the marking process has access to any information about individuals.
Things like “mitigating circumstances” are dealt with by a separate department, independent of the team of markers.
