After failing multiple exams throughout the years, I finally passed my second attempt of FM with 55% 🙂 So happy as I really thought I had failed!

Keep going people even if you’ve failed alot! It’s worth it once you pass your first one! I also recommend reading the technical articles on ACCA as they give some clues as to what comes up in the exams xxxx Good luck to everyone on your next exams !!!!

Don’t give up! I achieved 44% on my first attempt of FM then managed to pass second attempt! As long as you get 50% that’s all that matters! They are difficult exams with alot to learn and it’s super difficult to balance your social life and work! You can do this 🙂

75% pass the first time! Hard work will pay.. don’t lose hope if you didn’t get through this time. Try again!

suryasathish wrote:Disappointed…. in fact shocked at my results…….I should get 80 and above…..I lost confidence on evaluation process. It is also true with some successful candidates who were surprised about their results.

the MCQ itself is 60 marks…had you got all right you would’ve passed without question. It really doesn’t get more transparent than this, university exams hardly have MCQs either…

I have started to believe ACCA flips a coin who passes who fails!! I was so sure I would get at least 55% failed with 44% don’t understand it anymore!! feel like giving up!!

It might have to do with your exam technique.. Practice more questions and you will get there

Hi Catherine, congratulations! I’m in a similar boat to yourself. Which professional paper are you planning on sitting first? I’m really not sure, going to hold of until Jun sitting anyway but can’t decide in which order to sit the professional papers.
    Thanks

Hi Caoimhe, congrats to you too! I’m the same – going to wait til June but currently torn between SBL and AFM while FM is fresh in my memory. I’m daunted by the 4 hour SBL exam! My plan is to do the Ethics and Professional Skills module in the next couple of weeks and see if that makes me feel more prepared or sways me either way. I suppose I have to do both eventually anyway 🙂
